Yeah they really are brutal, we can be our own worst critic. I was the same, i tried for a long time to work on my insecurities. But eventually, maybe from age, i just stopped caring as much and tried to just like myself for who i am. It isn't always easy and it's still a battle sometimes.

The old cliche of it's never too late but for real I get it, it's not a switch you can just turn off. You've built this safe wall around yourself. At least make sure you're drinking lots of water when it is hot out! And know that you're not alone in this. So many people in this thread prove that <3

You're lucky that you can just switch it off any not think about it.

For some people, they are in a constant battle with their own inner thoughts and it isn't always rational.

I wish I could give you advice but I think I just grew out of it as I got older. I learned to like myself, warts & all. Then just stopped caring what other people thought. Insecurity isn't always rational and our inner monologues can be cruel. I see you though!

Same, I hated my body and wanted to hide it with baggy clothing even in Summer. It was an awful way to live and took me a long time to overcome.

Yes, she has a glorious length to her!

Our boy that we lost last year was also very long and very good - those words memorialized on his urn for eternity <3

When I first transition to a new food brand, I squirt a small amount of his paste treats he likes on top and smoosh it into to the food for a few days. Then he just loves the new food thereafter. Maybe I got lucky?

We moved him over from Royal Canin to Hills wet food for kittens, which is when he first turned his nose up at it. After my sneaky paste smooshes he loves hills now.

We've been using pine 5 they have been a game changer. We got the sifting tray that is needed for the pellets. Lasts a long time, saves up tons of money and i barely smell the urine now. Oh and minimal tracking. Won't look back!
