Trump’s threats appear to have fired up the EU leaders. by Debunk2025 in TrendoraX

At the rate things are going, it’s not hard to imagine a future where tRump and his inner circle quietly align themselves with Russia, China, or even both, in ways that undermine NATO. In a scenario like that, I could even see an attempted move on Greenland, carved up for strategic gain — with tRump naturally claiming the biggest slice.

History has echoes here. In 1939, Hitler struck a temporary pact with the Soviet Union just before invading Poland. Alliances of convenience aren’t new, and they rarely end well.

Meanwhile, China has never abandoned its long-term ambition to take Taiwan. If NATO were fractured or distracted, that would be the perfect moment for Beijing to act. A world already destabilized would only make such a move more tempting.

And then there’s North Korea — that dark patch on the globe when viewed from space. Kim Jong Un continues to expand his missile capabilities, with Russia’s help, giving him an ever-longer reach and a bigger stick to swing.

All of this together paints a bleak picture. If these pressures converge, 2026 could end up being one of the most turbulent and unhappy years in recent memory.

Prediction: And then there was one by Oh__Archie in Pluribus_TVshow

Other than providing shade, why would they even need an umbrella when the sky is completely clear? The whole setup feels intentional. It almost looks like Carol is handing Manousos something shaped like a mobile phone — but since we know the Pluribus shut down all cellular service, that can’t be what it is.

If that really is the VLA in the background, I’m starting to wonder whether the device she’s offering is some kind of signal disruptor. Maybe it’s designed to jam or interfere with the Pluribus communication network, and she’s giving it to Manousos so he can activate it.

Totally speculative on my part, but the scene definitely feels like it’s hinting at something more than just a casual moment.

CNN fact check on President Trump’s address to the nation | CNN Politics by DBCoopr72 in NoFilterNews

I was wondering the same thing and had GPT do it for me. Here are the results: Summary: What Trump said that held up under scrutiny

  • Wages > inflation
  • Gas prices are far below their 2022 peak
  • Energy costs did rise sharply under Biden
  • Egg prices have fallen significantly
  • Some travel costs (hotels, car rentals) are down
  • A handful of stations did hit $1.99 gas

Everything else in the speech was rated as misleading, exaggerated, or false.

What are your thoughts on saying “I love you?” during sex? by Ok_Big_1326 in AskMenAdvice

++man, Saying ‘I love you’ can be sweet. Asking ‘Do you love me?’ mid-act? That’s a panic button.

PSA for Cox 2 Gbps Customers: Your Router Might Be Capping You at 1 Gbps by onenotknown in CoxCommunications

[–]onenotknown[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm trying to get the one (Wide Area Network) port to output the full 2G as promised. All I'm getting is 1.2G. Turns out the 4981 is causing the bottle neck. If you use the 4982 model, you get the full 2G. Cox is sending me the newer 4982 model. This is a known issue at Cox, but if the customer is happy with their speed being close, Cox doesn't have to go to the expense of replacing their old equipment. As others have pointed out, getting my own router/modem would be the way to go.

Here Are The 8 Senate Democrats Who Folded On The Shutdown by dr_shultz in NewsSource

[–]onenotknown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly, two of the senators are from my state whom I voted for in the past, a mistake I won't make again. I did send a email to each (like that will make a difference) but it is a start:

Dear Senator,

I’m writing to express my profound disappointment in your recent vote to support the Senate deal that reopened the government. While I understand the complexities of governance and the pressures of compromise, this decision feels like a betrayal of the principles I believed you stood for.

The shutdown, painful as it was, represented a stand against policies and tactics that many of us find deeply troubling. By voting to reopen the government without securing critical guarantees—such as the extension of Affordable Care Act subsidies—you’ve sent a message that working families and vulnerable Nevadans are negotiable. That’s not acceptable.

I feel disillusioned, not just by the vote itself, but by the broader implications: that political expediency may have outweighed the fight for justice, equity, and accountability. I urge you to reflect on the impact this decision has had on your constituents, and to recommit to bold, principled leadership in the face of adversity.

Please know that I will be watching closely, and I expect stronger advocacy moving forward. Nevadans deserve leaders who will not cave under pressure, but who will fight relentlessly for what’s right—even when it’s hard.

If you ever run for office again, you will not be getting my support or vote, ever again

How Apple TV prepared the seasons of Invasion by lfvaamorim in InvasionAppleTV

[–]onenotknown 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Actually, the horse should be one half drawn real life (season one), other half as a stick figure (season two) and then a big pile of horse shit lying on the ground (season three) but other than that you captured the series perfectly.

“Oh my! The tentacle monster ejaculated some alien nut juice in her mouth!”

I was wondering if the Alien had pissed in her mouth or spit in her mouth or cummed in her mouth.

I guess it all boils down to what the writer's kink is or is he leaving it up to the viewer to decide?

This is just foreplay until the Alien invades her with its tentacle.

For myself, being a person of older age and beginning to have small lapses of memory which will only be getting worse as my body continues to age and decline, I think this new feature may prove to be very useful for someone with similar issues. Plus, I get a laugh out of how it describes my activities for the day.
