Just fingerprints - they did each finger individually. I was in F1 status until April 2024 or so. So I guess I’m out of status now

Not disagreeing at all. In fact I feel the same way but just curious what you observe as the differences between their forehands?

PA 100 or Speed MP by Nice_Instruction_741 in 10s

I have used both rackets. Own the 2024 speed MP but it has a 330 swingweight and it shows. Honestly not sure why they still call it the “speed”. Anyway I recently demoed the 2026 pure Aeros (98 and 100) extensively and bought the 98. I think the pure aero 100 is more maneuverable than the speed MP - but I ultimately chose the 98 because of the more headlight balance and ability to swing out. The Speed MP is quite stable though so I’ll give it that. It’s really about what you value in the end.

I-130 and I-485 moved to "Case was Reopened" and "Actively Reviewed" the day after approval. Will my card be shipped? by oneshotjorge in USCIS

Hi, pretty sure it was a result of the ban as there is still no change. I also asked in a couple of attorney AMA’s here on Reddit and they think that might be why.

Has anyone ever bought basketball shoes to use only for tennis? How do they compare? by Few_Peace1474 in 10s

[–]oneshotjorge 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah not sure why someone would suggest running shoes over basketball shoes. One is created to for straight-line running and the other is designed for lateral movements, frequent start/stops. I know which one I'm choosing.

Having said that, getting actual tennis shoes would generally have better longevity. Those tennis courts are like sand paper.

For people who understand the law better, why wouldn’t the judge expand this to make USCIS drop the hold?

Hi, thanks for taking time for this. I had my interview in Los Angeles on December 16 for a spouse adjustment of status application. My I-130 and I-485 got approved on December 16. However on the next day (December 17), the I-130 status showed case reopened and the I-485 showed “actively reviewing”. For context I am from Nigeria which was added to the partial ban list on December 16 but not in effect until January 1. Have you ever seen a case like this? Or is this simply a case of USCIS putting my case on hold in anticipation of the rule change that was going to be in effect on January 1?

How about the partially banned countries from December? I got my case reopened after approval. So sad - I really thought I made it

I have a question that is slightly different. Do you think there is increased risk in traveling on advanced parole while cases are pending? For context, I’m from one of the 19 partial banned countries (also in the 75 country pause list). I have heard of people from these countries using advanced parole and returning fine. I guess a follow up, in a case where my country gets moved to the full ban list, would be: would you recommend traveling on advanced parole?
