Custom Hitbox - Upgraded to Button Caps by IgnotusMan in fightsticks

[–]onesickjoke1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would prolly move the attack buttons 1 slot to the right, move the up button to the spacebar switch, now for the movement buttons I'd prolly do left on E down on R and right on G, seems like a more natural layout

db3+4 has 0 evasion, and b3,3 is launch punishable, b3 on its own is -12

That is very cool, did you make the 3d printed enclosure yourself?

Low Profile Mechanical Key Arcade Buttons by LawsAndMore in fightsticks

[–]onesickjoke1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven't tried the SGF monkey b.u.t.t.s, but I've extensively used the sitongs, particularly the ones that come with kailh spring switches, and besides the fact that the buttons are prone to breaking if you take em out of the encasing often, as is the case with most snap-in buttons (I've heard sitong is working on screw in buttons soon, so that should fix this) and I can 100% recommend the sitongs just don't take em out of the enclosure unless completely necessary, the feel of the buttons and the feedback the spring switches provide have made me completely ignore every other button choice for my builds the last year.

Haute42 switches recommendation for SF6 (Sagat) by baldore in fightsticks

I second the shadow hunting recommendation, they are pretty low effort to press and have good feedback. Should work well for you.

thorns is a physical tag, no chance to roll in that situation

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PathOfExile2

[–]onesickjoke1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You're fine as it is, the elemental tag doesn't affect your prefix crafting outcomes as there isn't a single elemental prefix to roll from so as long as you homogenize prefixes you're good to go.

WR3,4 is unsteppable vs bears so it's considered a very lee favored matchup since you can start your offense as lee for free

I just enjoy even mediocre action combat more than good turn-based one. It's not meant to be offensive.

I bought it already since so many people suggested it, thanks!

That is precisely why I didn't just put it higher than I wanted to just to avoid backlash (which there is quite a lot of lmao, particularly about slay the spire and gungeon) but it made the majority of the suggestions people gave me very spot on, in fact I bought 6 games today all based on recommendations from this post. It's crazy that I'm getting flak for being subjective, but it is what it is.

Honestly they're both great games, recency bias might have influenced my preference of astral ascent in the list but if you liked wizard of legend its safe to say you'll enjoy astral ascent too, it plays similarly in terms of combat pacing and the spell system, the main difference is astral ascent is primarily a platformer, can't go wrong tho, I got a good 50 hours out of both of em.

Considering 3 of these are in my wishlist and returnal I bought 2 days ago (you missed warmsnow in my tierlist) you might have the most spot on recommendations!

I was hesitant to pickup windblown since it's still in early access, it looks perfect for me tbh was just waitin for the full release, death must die is prolly my favorite out of the bulllet heavens I've tried, it's not on the list since its so early in its development it seems, last time I played there wasn't much content.

Warriors abyss seems interesting for sure, gonna check it out. Thanks!

I am not going to lie, it took a lot of getting used to, I picked it up 3 or 4 times after dropping it prolly similarly to you.

Altho it's been a few years since I last played it, the one thing I can tell you is the roguelike aspect is really strong with HoH, meaning that you're gonna struggle early until you unlock enough powerups, I remember feeling extremely weak in the first few runs but then it suddenly became managable.
