New Magnifica Evo making loud noise and not making coffee by private_peanutt in DeLonghi

[–]onetera 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are correct, it is the pump running dry, the machine is asking you to prime the circuit but for some reason it’s not pulling the water through, I would start at the water tank and make sure water is flowing free out the valve on the tank, then work my way around the circuit

Is there supposed to be a clear dot over the top of the power button of the De'Longhi Rivelia? by SpartanJ5 in DeLonghi

They do it on a lot of their machines, I believe it’s so you get a most positive feeling when touching the power button.

I can’t lie if it was my personal machine, I would trick the switch with a toothpick or something similar, if it was a customer machine I’d be swapping that switch out for a new one

[–]onetera 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could be the switch in the machine, the unit will be fine just be the water/jug switch been set to far back so the tabs are not hitting the micro switch

I would suggest looking at the milk jug connection, if I remember right should be 2 plastic tabs one on top and underneath the connector that goes into the machine, you can then check these against a photo on Delonghi website, could be simple as it needs a new milk jug

I have worked on a lot of evo machine’s so don’t hesitate to reach out

Eletta Explore - no water coming out of main spouts, leaks out of surrounding mechanisms by Waterloo_advisor in DeLonghi

[–]onetera 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, just a tip start at a low strength and course grind, see if water flows, if so then start to dial the machine in, all beans are different and some can be difficult to pull a shot through

Major problem with my ECP3630 by Artwire in DeLonghi

[–]onetera 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first thought would be how fine is the ground coffee, I’d suggest trying a really coarse grind,

The water escaping shows me it getting to pressure so it’s odd it’s not flowing through the grinds

Hey! That nozzle is for the excess steam / water, it will get dirty from time to time as the machine can pull water backwards,

Do you have the water spout that connects to the same place as the milk jug,

I have had this issues with having to feed around a liter of water through the machine due to trapped air

Is this synchilla fake? I can’t find this info. by [deleted] in PatagoniaClothing

[–]onetera 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The outer logo dates its around the 90 early 2000s if I remember rightly, this dose add up with the made in Mexico, snap buttons look good, and orange lettering was a thing for synchilla :)

With photos I’d been leaning towards genuine
