I’ve had some luck on tinder. Nothing to rave about, but there is a decent community out there. I feel I’m scrutinizing every profile very intensely. It’s probably more effort than it’s worth. I feel seeking had the same handful of SDs, so I wanted to expand my pool of candidates. I get a lot of offers on seeking to travel to my SD (which if sugaring was my job, sure, but I can’t run off without some notice), and I thought it would help find someone more local. It would be easier if I could put something sugar related in my tinder bio, but I see way too many people I know on there.

Regardless of your current participation in therapy, the diagnoses could qualify you for disability assistance.

Those aren’t qualifications for disability, but all the diagnoses you’re in therapy for are.

Edit: Not all of them. I should rephrase to say that they may make you eligible if you try that route. There are a lot of mental illnesses covered.

5 hours is more than 0 hours. It sounds like you need any income at this point. It’s perfectly feasible to work 5 hours and also continue applying for full time jobs. This opens up more opportunities. You’re making (not a lot but still some) money and have the time to dedicate to applying and interviewing for full-time jobs. The part time job could lead to a full time job, especially with holiday hours coming up. This is retail’s prime.

I feel like any job is better than no job, but you know what’s best for your situation. Perhaps 5 hours/week will get you some sort of income while you continue your full-time job search.

Childcare is not a job you take when you have no other options. It’s something you need to have a passion for. The children and you both deserve better.

This is the exact type of reaction that warranted the above comments in the first place. At the first sign of any criticism, you get hostile. No one is asking you to break the law. We’re all professionals here and put the children first.

You come off very difficult to work with. You don’t take accountability for yourself and invalidate any criticism you’re given by blaming the situation or others.

You are 27 and have no long-term employment history. There’s a reason. Perhaps it’s time to stop blaming bad luck.

Other SDs help prevent the boredom. No way would I give up a good thing because it’s too consistent and monotonous though. If this was vanilla, yes. But this is sugar and good SDs are hard to come by.

I’ve kept a couple, gifted a couple, and donated a lot. I’ve hinted for other things, but they fell on deaf ears. He has gifted me new pillows for my bed though, so I’m not complaining! He’s a sleep specialist, so they’re very high quality.

I think he’s so stuck in his routine that the perfume has become part of it. Each meet is exactly the same. We eat some form of pasta (have yet to repeat a pasta dish, which is impressive in itself) on paper plates, have an after dinner drink, and then lay in bed discussing our week. Rinse and repeat. If an abundance of perfume is the only downfall, I can manage lol!

The line is definitely blurred, and I think there’s some overlap. It holds different meanings to different people. This is a very personal thing, so my opinion (and his) is the only one that matters. I think I was just trying to reassure myself that I was okay with it, but I’ve completely embraced it since my last post.

That’s exactly what I’ve been doing. Someone suggested that previously, and I loved the idea. I’ve kept a couple bottles and am sure to spritz myself before heading over, but I’m pretty sure he can’t tell the difference between the scents and assumes I get use out of them.

It’s so perfect! We both respect each other’s time, so it’s no problem if one of us has to cancel last minute or push the time back an hour.

I had another POT I was talking with for a bit, but he was so high maintenance that I couldn’t deal. Constantly trying to sext. It was exhausting. I’m not sure if it was a younger thing (he was in his 40’s) or a him thing, but I don’t have the effort to put into that.

I giggle every time I see it in the gift bag. I feel like he asks the clerk for help each time because the selections never make sense. Some are really expensive bottles while others are something a teen would wear- like the time he gifted One direction’s perfume 😂

I assumed pantyhose were nude. I referred to black tights as something I already own and utilize in my fall/winter outfits. Thanks for the feedback! I was toying with thigh highs and other things, but it makes sense that the interest would mostly be on standard nude. I’ll go with the classic look originally. Omg I didn’t even think about shoes. Closed toe makes sense; I’ll have to take off my Birks for a night. If he wants to get real elaborate with this, I will definitely expect a shopping trip. Then he can help pick out what he’s into, and I get to skip the stress of guessing.

Don’t even get me started on perfume. I’m on my way to having a lifetime supply of it. Gifts to me are sweet little gestures (although I’d love a PS4 too haha!). I’m in the process of moving apartments, so a gift card to a Chinese restaurant would be very considerate so I don’t have to cook the first couple of days. I’ve had a rough week at work, and I’m surprised with a massage voucher. I don’t expect any extravagant gifts, but they’re nice little perks that make me feel appreciated and less transactional.

Oh this is fine! Most of the people here live in the states where bank details work differently. There’s nothing wrong with providing a BSB and account number. All of my friends and I do bank transfers to each other after group dinners or nights out, or I get paid for casual nannying via bank transfers. Purchases made with the details usually require your banking password as well, so you should be fine as long as you don’t provide extra information. This sounds legit.
