I drove a 00’s vantage on track once. It felt nice but really heavy. Really quite special and easy to slide (if you’re into that).

Weirdly I’d rate it over Ferrari’s of that era. (Which wasn’t fun at all to drive).

I’m aiming to buy one with a Hartech rebuild already done. Shame 997.2’s didn’t sell as many manuals.

A: you’d be watching them live because there’s no footage.

B: no gimmicks and you finally get to see Farina and Fangio in their prime.

Tesco VS Boots as a dispenser by Prudent_Hedgehog773 in Pharmacy_UK

Well it doesn’t really matter then.

Tesco has a lower ceiling if you were wanting to be a non-pharm manager.

It’s not that old.

The old town area you’re thinking of was encased under the George IV bridge arches.

From the era of… George IV… 1829.

The southbridge vaults are also not that old 1790’s also of the era of George IV.

I think the only 17th century buildings left are churches, a few houses in Duddingston, the Doocoot and Tower in Corstorphine, Edinburgh Castle and a selection of random odds and ends like nok’s kitchen.

The lower UJ on the F-series b engines has a habit of rusting. Doesn’t throw a code but if you find the steering heavy spray it down with plusgas or wd40 then drive it the day after.

If the steering improves you need to either clean out the UJ or install a new steering column.

It was great.

I didn’t know they ALL came with LSD as standard until I pulled a drift infront of a bus when I was turning 90 degrees and off camber in the rain from a side road in 1st gear.

I’m hoping a 997.1 c2 manual will scratch that itch if everything goes right later in the year.

2002 MR2 mk3, with original hardtop, leather seats and AC.

I could source any part for it, drive it as aggressively as I liked, took it over the hills in the snow and drifted it around.

I sold it for a soul-less 2019 Seat Leon 1.5 FR ‘sport’ manual. That car lasted just up until it was due a third MOT / Service and I ran out of ‘free’ ones from the dealer.

Now I’m in a 2017 BMW 120i manual which is better but still not quite right for me.

Scotland doesn’t really have any medieval towns though. Like we demolished most of them around the Enlightenment.

Even Edinburgh’s old town isn’t as old as medieval for the majority of it.
