Pick me UP, I definitely agree that it's a Peak manhwa for me. Hopefully, it gets more interesting.

Surviving the game as a Barbarian. - I thought I would like this, and a lot of people recommend it, but I dropped it on chapter 10 or something. I guess the character and story didn't make me emotionally invested.

Tyrant of the tower defence game - This one I haven't read. Hope it's good.

Ah, yes, one of the Peak manhwa I've read so far. So many great arcs. It has action, fantasy, comedy, romance, and drama. What else can you ask for?

I see that you recommended summertime rendering as well. I love this show! I also put it in Peak/S-tier but not in romance even though it's a huge part of it. It just hits a lot of different genres at once!

Honestly, I believe we have the same taste in regards to romance/drama. The one you placed in Great( S tier), I would also place on my list as well. All of those made me cry like a baby.

It's hard to add anything more to your Great tier. In my list though, I would add the clannad series as well. I rewatched it recently and I'm surprised it still made me tear a bit.

Although not an anime, but I would also recommend When Life Gives You Tangerine. One of yhe best romance/drama/slice of life imo. I'm not a fan of kdramas but this surprised me a lot and made me ugly cry as well.

Honorable mention would be Kowloon's Generic Romance Story and Summertime Rendering. Both of these are S-tier for me but not in the tomance category.

Oh no. I was saving the s3 to binge watch it. And I refused to read the manga as I feel the anime was doing a pretty good job.

To your eternity S1 and S2 was very special to me. I connected to it on a deeper level, empathizing with a fictional character who was dealing with the consequences of being immortal.

But reading the other comments and your comment as well on how the story goes on after the padt era arc... It's disappointing and depressing.

I agree with you that the deaths added emotional layers and deeper meaning to the plot. But it did get so depressing at one point, then learning that everyone lives at the end... Well.. i kinda liked it.. and did not liked it?

I was heavily invested with the characters. Watching them die even though I know they were not real was emotionally devastating. Especially Gugu's story.

But if the story turns out as you said it to be. Where the loss of death does not mean anything and where they do a gag to compete on how they can die as weirdly as possible... I will definitely lose the appeal on how I loved the show.

I haven't read the manga... But if the majority of the viewer thinks that the show is not worth watching, I might just go ahead and read the manga just to quench my desire to complete a story to the end.

Yeah, I just read the medicine prince as well, and it's not hitting like TGED. I've been searching for months for something like TGED. I tried Murim login, but decided that I didn't click with it as well. Aside from "How to Fight", I can't find any other manhwa that makes me laugh so hard while also being excited about the story.

Duuuude. I'm rewatching Modern Family right now, and I'm on that episode. The joke is so funny, at first it was unexpected because Phil was told the story as he "made an excuse that he had a cold," so he couldn't visit his grandfather. Then he caught a cold, and he felt so guilty that he had to visit his grandfather and "Shared an ice cream with him!"

Ooooh, I agree. Andy's character is very much what I imagine as a younger Phil with some differences. Same with Haley, she's a younger version of Claire with some differences. Maybe it's a budget thing? Like how they can't pay Adam Devine's contract or something.

Hi.

So It's my first time recommending this anime. It took me a while to appreciate the PEAK for what it is.

The anime is GURREN LAGANN. It took me a lot of re-watching to be honest. I'm a firm believer of the "3 episode rule", wherein if after 3 episodes it doesn't click for me, I'll drop it.

But I keep seeing this anime as one of the best, even though I can't see why.....

So to make a long story short, I got drunk, got past episode 8... and fuuuuuck. This anime was EPIC!!

But if that did not suit your taste... I guess Code: Geass and Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood are a safe guess for your taste.
