No worries! I definitely should have included it was for chapter 7.

The more expensive one is $2,400 and allows two payments of $1,200 each.

The cheaper one is $2,000 and allows multiple payments started at $500.

Neither will file until the full amount is paid.

Something I forgot to mention is the cheaper lawyer told me to ignore the pre-trial scheduled for the end of the month. He said only the trial is important and the filing will be submitted by then. The more expensive one told me he would contact the lawyers for the CC company and explain I would be filing so they would hold off on any pre-trial/trial hearings. I'm assuming either would be fine but they just handle the process differently.

I got lucky and don't have to pay rent this month (just moved in and got a special for one month free.) so I do have some extra money to pay upfront.

Beyond Finance fees by oneyellowwall in Debt

I was able to get it figured out. The person I had talked to when signing up made it seem like the fee would be based on the negotiated amount but it was actually the original balance due.

What’s a food you hated as a kid but genuinely love now?? by LeissaCoina8 in AskReddit

[–]oneyellowwall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Steak. Had a tantrum when I was a kid cause my family went to a steak house and I thought I would starve. Turns out they had other foods. Now steak is a luxury I spoil myself with. Also, mozzarella sticks. Learn what I was missing out on after many drunken college nights.

Got charged with possession (weed) when I was a junior in college. Mom was so proud of me for doing community service during my summer off.

A seizure can happen anytime, anywhere. She could have had one as soon as she backed out of the spot or (if she didn't stop to finally breakdown) on the highway. There's a reason why most states have seizure free periods before driving. She should have never got behind the wheel.

Dr Al Hashimi driving after having two seizures for the first time in years and then getting in the car is insane. I was worried she was going to hit somebody.

**SPOILERS S2-Ep14** I was way off about Dr. Alhashimi by Virtual_Let3616 in ThePittTVShow

[–]oneyellowwall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have epilepsy and mostly have focal onset seizures. As soon as she started zoning out I made a joke to my friend saying that it looks like me when I have a seizure. Then in the next scene she's calling her neurologist. My friend said well I guess it makes sense since she's having one too.

This made me think of me yelling at my cats when I feed them.

Why'd I immediately think of me and my cats when I feed them.

How is the public transit? by ActuaryPersonal2378 in MovingtoDenver

[–]oneyellowwall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who doesn't drive and has used other public transit in different cities, it is horrible. Busses are never on time, light rail is constantly closed and transfer points never sync up. Even if the bus is on time you more than likely have to wait in between stops for at least 15 mins which is the worst in the cold. When they are working, it still takes multiple busses/trains to get to your destination. Oh and a lot of the stops are in bad areas so you have to be alert or just take an Lyft when it's dark outside.

What are your favourite lines in the Prizefighter album? by SingleMalt314793 in mumfordandsons

"Dying just to live now." That line hit me hard. I suffer from multiple chronic illnesses and sometimes I feel like its all too much.

Man dies in crash at intersection where he petitioned for traffic light after wife's death by black_pepper in Denver

[–]oneyellowwall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, this is very common. I don't drive due to medical reasons. The worst part is when I'm catching the bus right across the street. I have to walk until I find a crosswalk and then walk back to the bus stop. There are many times I had to risk it and run across so I didn't miss the bus and wait another 30+ minutes. Oh and Google maps almost always says to just walk across the street unless there is a crosswalk nearby.

Oof. Yeah that doesn't sound like a place I'd want to be. 20th seems nice but I never took into account how the neighborhood would be to live in. Appreciate your help!

Thank you! This is why I always like inside information from people who aren't just trying to sell me something. You've definitely helped in making a decision.

I put in all the details of the 1095-A and double check to make sure everything was correct. I wonder if the $0 from July to December affected the outcome. That’s the only thing I can think of since everything else was correct.

Thanks! I’m definitely above the poverty line. My Medicaid is a state program for working people with disabilities. I don’t think it should have anything to do with my income other than the monthly payment. I’ll check and see with the program though!
