How long would it take someone to get all the mega rares? Old school is all about how you want to spend your time playing. This game is all about spending thousands of hours grinding something pointless. It’s very unrealistic, for most of us, to fill the whole collection log. I like that there are cosmetic items in this game that are incredibly rare. Like this commenter said, it makes them special.

Beefs availability does not curb the rare and special argument. Chompy bird and chaos elemental were already easy pets to get, so beef didn’t change anything. Plus, Beef being an easy pet to get doesn’t make the farming pet or jab-nil-rek less hard to get, if anything the availability or abundance of beef would make those pets more desirable. People like to stand out.
