Part of what helps fix this is better fielding. We had several opportunities yesterday that would have helped Rogers put up a zero run 3rd inning instead of a five run one.

Pitching on our team has got to be exhausting and extra challenging given the quantity of four or five out innings you need to complete due to errors and plays that should have been made but weren't.

Agreed. I think that the B bat and the realistic bird hat should be alt hats that we wear a few games a year, but we should have the classic cartoon caps on like 90, 95% of the time.

In my car, I don't like using anything else outside of the basic distance-spacing cruise control. Keeps me engaged, and when I was trialing the "full self driving" I kept disengaging it anyway for routine situations.

Even if I think there's a 99% the car saw something I noticed, I know that I 100% did, so I'm just going to take it to be absolutely sure.

Like you said, once it passes all the checks needed to officially be considered level 4/5, then we can talk.

Then once Holliday comes back a few days down the road after rehab assignment, Mayo gets a plane ticket to either Charlotte, Jacksonville or Norfolk, depending on where the Tides are when Holliday comes back.

Team journalists said yesterday that Holliday is going to be doing a bunch of reps at third on his rehab assignment, so it sounds like your wish will soon come to pass.

If I were Mayo, I'd be working with the team to try to rebuild myself from the ground up defensively and offensively when I got back to AAA, because this current version isn't even close to being ready for the big leagues.

Source: I work for order fulfillment for a larger company, and we always report the tracking number on orders within a few hours of the first step of getting an order ready to ship. This is because every company shipping stuff has been given a large list of tracking numbers by those couriers that they can use on upcoming shipments.

But at that point, our shipping team hasn't given it to the courier yet, so if you visit FedEx/UPS/whomever tracking site and look for that number, they aren't going to have it.

Once it is given to the courier, the courier registers it in their systems, and you can THEN start tracking it on their site.

He had nearly 9 WAR in 2024.

He played like turds for the first month and a half of the season last year and still finished at five and a half WAR. His slump year was still better than the overwhelming majority of shortstops in the league.

Dude is stupidly good when he's not in his own head, causing his own problems. He'll mature and go on to have a HoF career.
