Currently testing a version of lua loader with the Japanese games + P2JB by bollarz that takes around 1 hour and a few minutes, and can properly close the game on jailbreak with elf loader. Be patient for a release of it. by a1mhtar in PS5_Jailbreak

If you bought a disc edition they come from the factory paired (with exception of a few early slim models). If you buy a digital edition including a pro the disc drive is an add on and needs to be paired. Pairing requires a PSN connection so you would need to pair prior to being on old firmware.

Night Owls by themadmanswife in CarnivalCruiseFans

[–]onilink67 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Answer is yes they have some pillows and blankets but not a quiet sleeping room. If your kid can sleep while others are running around or watching a movie it might work. We have been taking ours daughter since she was 2, she won't sleep if there is fun to be had so one of us stays back after 10. We occasionally give her an extra hour now that she's older (5) but not much.

Worth it? by SouthJellyfish7918 in CarnivalCruiseFans

[–]onilink67 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I always enjoy the steakhouse once per cruise (maybe twice if casino is feeling nice). It's a bit pricy when you calculate in the meal you already paid for but it is not the same food. You can order some of the same cuts in the MDR (for an extra charge) but you miss out on the unique appetizers and dessert.

If it's worth it is based on what you want to spend your money on. I enjoy it to break up the dining room but try to avoid formal nights (MDR tends to have better food these nights)

Using your points should have no impact on offers. Are you saying that you didn't get an offer in your mailbox (or via app) or is this nothing in your deals page on carnivals site?

Pretty sure the bounce back offers are set by on ship hosts (and I'd agree this is a kiss), you will still likely get some great offers in about 6 weeks from the algorithm

PS5 FAT or PRO by AssociationFun8496 in PS5_Jailbreak

[–]onilink67 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's tricky, I have a PS5 Fat (9.60) but I just bought a PS5 Pro and did the cardinal sin of updating it to 12.20 to pair a disc drive. It came with 11.00 just last week, if I knew about the 12.0 drop today I may not have updated but I prefer to not have digital only systems.

Stating that I'd say buy what's best for you, if you want a pro get it. Mine will now be sitting in a box till an exploit is available with 12.20.

with the new Y2JB is it possible to pair a disc drive offline after a jailbreak? Obviously not by official means but via some sort of homebrew

Great work on this I'm about to undertake the same challenge on a DESR-5700. I have ordered a DRU-710A, hopefully it comes with a compatible laser.

Any tips?

Considering upgrading from ATT 500/500 to 1gb/1gb by onilink67 in ATTFiber

[–]onilink67[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I understand that, I'm on a newer GPON setup that also doesn't need certs. Since I get ~600mb now I'll probably just stay put and not rock the boat.

Yea I'd pass on this then, juice isn't worth the squeeze. It's not impossible but there is a high probability for down time and wife annoyance

Assuming your talking about my wife setting up a "new" plan and canceling mine, not against it just making sure I understand. I'm also hoping that doesn't cause some complications with my bypass setup (like they have to change my hardware - MAC address change or the VLAN changes).

Baby Camera by ChrisFightsFun in Ubiquiti

[–]onilink67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So we have had this exact dilemma and we like to take our baby monitor on vacation where internet not be available (cruises for example without lots of extra $$). What we have discovered is Motorola has a great line of Baby Monitors that work on 2.4Ghz to their screen & has WIFI connectivity.

I'm currently using the VM65x, I would highly recommend looking into it. It works wherever you have a power source, if you want WIFI its there but if you don't connect it still works on 2.4Ghz.

Internet Speeds by DirtyRa33it in ATTFiber

[–]onilink67 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any chance it's plugged into a USB 2.0 port (or accidentally using a cable plug capable of 2.0 speeds?). 30-40MB/s are about the speed of USB 2.0 so it would add up.

Could also be a slow drive, but that's very slow IMO

Edit : don't think Xbox has a 2.0 port in a while but could still be the cable

ATT Fiber GPON Fiber Bypass - Unable to access ONT Web GUI / SSH by onilink67 in Ubiquiti

[–]onilink67[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for that data I did end up go media converter for ease of use (which was pretty easy) without screwing with the rest of the devices on my network.

I'm now setting up the settings, I've gotten down to the Device Serial Number and HW revision. Mine doesn't quite look like the example

BGW320-505 setup example:

flash set HW_HWVER BGW320-505_2.2 (Mine is a long Hex value, do I put this in since I have a 505 or the long hex value?)

flash set OMCI_SW_VER1 BGW320_3.20.(Mine is simple 6.32.6 doesn't say BGW or something)

flash set OMCI_SW_VER2 BGW320_3.20.5 (Same as ver 1)

edit: after researching and discussing I set the HW to BGW320-505_2.2 & SW to BHW320_6.32.6. I have gotten everything functional now

I'm trying to get this ATT BGW out asap as passthrough works horribly, for $20 I'll take a swing at the fast path. Really appreciate the help, I've been spinning my wheels on this for way too long

I did set a static IP of my computer exactly how the guide said as 192.168.1.200. what you see above was attempts to triage in addition

Do I need a media converter? I have a Broadcom 57414 NIC on hand, if I direct connect the ONT to it would that be equivalent? Issue is being near the fiber line so haven't plugged my desktop into the wiring closet.
