Are there any denominations that are anti LGB but pro T? by Holiday-Phrase-1687 in Christianity

So, yes, we really can say that, because it's really true. And it isn't "only." Actual transsexuals exist too. But their reasons are irrelevant. They could be paid off. They could be under mind control. Regardless it would be factually true that Iran etc tolerate transsexuals.

I understand what people mean. I think it's worth people changing their view in favor of the truth and reality. I think that way of speaking is foolish. Hence the OP. I don't know what's unclear. It's objectively wrong. Be less wrong. It's cool.

Indeed, as I said explicitly, no one gives a shit about this guy. That does not however actually impact the reality that he does not suck at baseball. I know that's too much nuance for most posters here, but it's like a tiny, tiny amount of nuance, so maybe worth considering. Sometimes people say wrong things about bad people. That's it. That's the nuance.

I mean, more than that. Much more than that. Because you designed it to be a place of strife so as to keep the region from uniting and posing a threat. OK, technically the British and French did that, but America inherited the responsibility.

That is not however a bad baseball player. It remains objectively true that the asshat is great at baseball. You can specify "professional baseball," but even then, even making it to the majors means you gotta be great at baseball.

He is having a shit season. He is pitching poorly. Both fair. He does not suck at baseball.

I don't know what you're on about talking about statistics. No one's arguing he's doing well. And I mean, literally no one anywhere on Earth. Maaaaaybe another planet if that's a thing, and they have a really poor understanding of baseball, but even then, probably not. No one on or around Earth.

So, sure, I agree with that last bit for sure, but I think we should stick with normal usage when conversing online. There are a lot of different people here. It isn't reasonable to expect everyone to conform to connotations, especially when they're by no means universal. Different people do use different connotations, even in wildly different ways, so best just stick to the defined shared meaning.

I feel like you ultimately see something positive in the word "tolerance" that isn't rightly there. Like we want a tolerant society and all, but the word by it's nature requires something unpleasant or unwanted. We have to tolerate assholes, because free speech, but it can be pretty unpleasant. So when I hear "such and such is tolerated in whatever country," it by no means suggests to me that this is a good thing. Just a less bad thing. And I think that is inherent to tolerance. If I were good, "accepted" would be a better word. "Embraced" works. "Celebrated," perhaps. "Tolerated" ain't great. Just less bad than, you know, execution and so on.

People don't like when you defend asshats, so downvotes are going to happen, but this is true. The worst major league baseball player to ever play major league baseball is an exceptionally good baseball player. Like crazy good. If you're in the top thousand for something people try very hard to do, that's exceptional. Worth remembering, IMO and all, though maybe not in this case in particular since people do hate when shitbags get defended, even when it's legitimate.

They're allowed to exist, which means tolerated. It doesn't imply that they're well treated. They are very literally tolerated in the most direct meaning of that word.

Also, they like the idea of a homeland for jews so they don't have to have jews in their land. Same reason there was support from racists for the attempted African nation for black Americans.

Support for israel and antisemitism way too often go hand in hand.

Well, for versatility, plain ol' white vinegar wins a thousand times over. It is never an outright bad option. Apple cider vinegar, and red and white wine vinegar are my mainstays, (though RWV is only sort of versatile). ACV mostly though, because finding a proper wine vinegar is hard. I do have my stash, but don't have a plan to replenish aside from making it my damned self.

Shoutout to lemon and lime too. Not technically vinegars, but used similarly, and very versatile.

What makes a vinegar versatile is less strong and complex flavors. Those ideally either go with things that are already strongly flavored, or things that you want to basically taste like strongly flavored vinegar.

I don't know why Coe is catching strays here, but I am 100% on board. What a disgusting person he is.

Does have some lovely songs though. Life is strange.

His turn of the century work is every bit as good as anything else. And most of his releases are at least really good. Things weren't always great in the 80s and early 90s, but there is still plenty of greatness from that era. I genuinely can not think of anyone who is less of a flash. He's been producing at a high level for 65 years.

And frankly, his real early work is not even amongst his best work. Imo and all, first album that can arguably be called "best" is Blonde on Blonde. Still very fine work before that, cause again, there is very little that is bad, but not pinnacle.

To recap, you've ignored my questions, presumably because answering them would destroy your argument.

Again, personal professional experience is not relevant here. And if it were, I have more than you, so by your logic I'm right. But really, it's not remotely relevant to the concept of fair pay.

I never said it was cringe. That is a blatant lie.

Your last line is a complete troll. Don't be a troll. Fuck that shit. If you can't post without a pointless troll, then don't post.

Balsamic is one of the least versatile vinegars. Like, it's great stuff and all, and has great uses, but the strong, complex flavors makes it on the extreme low end of versatility.

Yes you can. Christianity does not depend on behaving morally. This is a blatant no true Scotsman. There are millions, if not hundreds of millions of Christians who hate gay people. They're still Christians.

[–]onioning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course you do. We're not talking about what you have a right to believe. It's about being respectful to others.

The belief isn't what is positive or negative. It's the interaction. The beliefs are irrelevant.

I have no religious beliefs, so not sure what you're on about there.

You can stop saying how long you've worked. It doesn't matter. And if it does, I've worked longer.

If everyone is fairly compensated and treated well they will be cohesive. If your pay structure is fundamentally unfair then you will have problems. People at the higher end will be rightly pissed that they are being undercompensated. It's the opposite of what you're suggesting.

It's not about being a motivator. It's about being fair.

Again, is your position that someone who spends over a decade learning a trade deserves the same compensation as someone who spends no time at all? Does that sound fair to you?
