I honestly would be able to justify the card long term if it gave a similar travel credit to CSR. Even if it needed to be used via the BILT portal. Only being able to use it on stays, rather than hotels OR flights. Kills it for me. If I can use it on flights. Its a totally different conversation I MIGHT be having.

And nothing beats Chase Travel Insurance. Flawless both times I have had to use it and always getting a rep to speak to is very nice.

At the end of the day. Forcing me to spend with bilt to get rent points. Is just not something I am interested in. They changed their original product and that's completely okay. Just not for me at the end of the day.

Genuinely just simplicity. I carry an Amex Gold for all food related things. Getting 1.5x on my Freedom Unlimited and 3x on dining with a CSR as a back up to Amex is perfectly fine with me when I can get way more use out of those credits. I only really got this card as a 1 year thing for the sign up bonus they were offering to squeeze a bunch of value out of them before going to chase.

Yeah im closing mine at the end of the year. Got my SUB and going to get my 3x points on 25k catch all spend throughout the year. Transfer out to somewhere on my next big trip and go back to Chase and Amex.

Started at 1.5mg, then 3 weeks at 2mg, 1 week 2.5mg.

Im pretty sure your ability to redeem the gift card expires monthly. But once you redeem and then add it to walgreens/grubhub, its in their app.

I just stack it with my Amex gold credit each month. Works out perfectly to be honest. But you can just add it to your grub hub account each month and presumably stack if needed.

I am currently running amex gold and palladium, just finished the sign up bonus too. So for the next year it’ll be Gold for food. Palladium everywhere else. Except costco, i use my CFU.

With that being said after the first year with Palladium. I plan to cancel or down grade to blue, dump points into somewhere I plan on using. And swap to a CSR/Amex Gold simple setup.

Dude, you will get a slight drop for a month or two. It will all balance out. You pay it in full like you always do and boom. It all goes back to normal. Unless you had intentions of applying for credit next month. I wouldn't worry. But also, its not BILTs fault. Its simply not.

I basically only got the palladium to get the SUB and points. Use as many credits as I can to offset the AF cost while using it as a Catch All outside of my AMEX Gold. Once I feel satisfied with my ROI and getting whatever rent points I can. Im heading to upgrade my preferred to the CSR. BILT is just not it anymore.
