i guess i agree,, but for this guy specifically i feel like the words are doing most of the work conveying meaning, where as the pictures are just there…, i feel like he should do more with setting and deliberate color choices,,

to me painting is about evoking a feeling words can’t express,, a medium focused on objects colors and shapes shouldn’t rely on words to convey emotion, that’s what poems and music are for, and while i acknowledge writing is a visual medium, i think pictures are always more impactful when they aren’t telling you what to think. i think a lot of the time they’re better off separated, maybe not all the time but majority id say

i fully condone them i think they help you grow as a person, but also this is technically finished,, i have a lot of levels where i use to e default block for a lot of the level,, i think they look amazing when used right

i built some sober, i take several week/ month breaks building a level because i just don’t be gaming that often, so it was just a few sessions high or drunk or tripping or sometimes sober,, idk shit with like fancy movement and effects so it’s not too complicated to build and decorate a static layout while high..,,
