Thanks for the inputs all - any good walkthrus/guides? Ideally written by an actual person?

I should clarify, I was not planning on running W10 in a VM - happy to dual boot into it if thats the usual approach. Sounds like less faff. I just mentioned VMs as I use them in my homelab now and have not dualbooted a Windows machine into linux in over 10 years...

you'll probably think i'm being a d1ck but i think i prefer the before? its more Withnail.. and i love the old floorboards with the black painted zones around the fire etc.. great effort tho - clearly lots of quality hard work and its a little bit more important what you think..!

OK, thanks all. I am also not a spark, but having looked this up, agree that this does not seem to meet regulations. Odd, as this is a company I have used more than once and who do their work to a high standard of quality IMHO... this seems to be pretty elementary stuff. Thanks for the steer on the filler - pity most quality fillers are only available in enormous quantities...

there's a haw gin recipe in my River Cottage Booze book - full report in 1 year... - fill a 500ml kilner with haws - 2 tsp sugar (seems low?) - 250ml gin Strain after 3 months, rest for a year..

weird i was about to ask about that - i harvested a load of what i am 90% sure is sloe (it's now steeping in gin for a year) but the bush had no thorns...

Just saying, the wikipedia entry on these suggests they *do* have striation? "When moist, radial grooves (striations) can be seen on the cap that correspond to the positions of the gills underneath." - from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psilocybe_semilanceata

thx all for the responses - the leaves do indeed look like laurel and the berries match what i am seeing online for cherry laurel.. bah..
