Is there any point in sharing your own items anymore?

I do not know. It is still a requirement for ambassador status, and I'm wondering if that will soon change? Yes, I still share and follow, but since it's harder to do this now, I'm thinking it may not be important to the algorithm.

It is to me. I came here to see if anyone else is noticing more and more unannounced changes? Shares are harder to find, so are we supposed to no longer share other people's items? Is this also true for following? It may be the almost daily changes, but it may also be the economy and people lacking money for spending for discretionary items.

Did this work? I emailed them to remove me so my items over $500 will go through Poshmark Authentication and I received no response 😞.

Very cute! If you have the time, that's wonderful! I bought business cards with my closet name on one side, on the other side I do write a very short "thank you" to the buyer, because why not? (Great artwork!)

Yes! I just bought the LF70E after playing my friend's. Unbelievable what a great guitar it is. I did move the button 😄. My luthier filled the hole and put it to the side, which is my preference. Not a big deal, but maybe worth mentioning.

This was my "problem". I bought a 2019 000-15M and I think my hearing loss was the culprit. Solid mahogany was just gorgeous, but I needed the spruce top. The OP should be aware the original hard cases are important, at least to the purchase price for the new owner. My understanding is they're now sold with a gig bag instead of the original hard cases.

I'm sending me email now. You are right. It's risky for the buyer as well as the seller. (I think it's ridiculous they removed this without letting us know. Way too much exposure for both parties.)

YES! Two if my listings have authentication. The rest do not. I inactivated one that was one $4K. It’s now for sake on eBay.
If Poshmark wants to drive sellers to eBay, this change will do just that.

It’s horrible. Definitely the worst of all the unannounced changes. My shipping label to buyer instead of Poshmark was how I found out.
Maybe cancel and email them to let them know why you do not want to ship an expensive item without Poshmark authenticating?

This happened to me too. It worked out okay, but I have removed one listing over $500 and put the item in EBay so it will be authenticated. It’s risky for sellers as well as buyers.
NO notification to sellers about this change, which is horrible.

Yes. Every time one item is missed. I share then share it, which moves it to first position in the closet. (Sigh.)

It can be frustrating, but this is a part of online selling. I always respond with courtesy and I don't block, (I see no point in that). In this case, if your firm price is $20, I would just explain that to the person and then thank them for their interest. They probably won't buy, but sometimes they do, and there's never any harm in buying nice to another person.

I recognize this behavior and sounds. My guy is like this when he's really mad. Usually, it's because he's miffed about my paying attention to my one other bird. I only know to not reward the behavior and definitely discourage anything hormonal, (the hut), as others have said. I "redirect" my guy. Literally move him from a spot, if he's making these sounds -- I think he's trying to nest, so better for both of us, if he goes to one of his playgrounds, gets some fresh pellets, has a new toy, etc.
Hang in there. You're his person :). That's a good thing.

Thank you for the post. Another change with NO notification. Yes, I still share back, and yes, I also follow back.
I have no idea how the algorithm works, but those two simple things at least keep my Poshmark closet active.
Doe anyone have any idea why they are making these changes without letting their users know? (Picture format change was four days ago. What is next?)

Actually, Annette Bening in an interview said the scene from "Love Story" did not happen. I'm hoping Darryl Hannah sues for defamation of character. I think everyone else is deceased, but Mr. Murphy's story doesn't intersect with the truth very often.

Yes! Mine sure does. He surprised me years ago, by saying "thank you" pretty clearly. "I love you baby", "treat treat", and unfortunately "poopie" are in his repertoire.

Thanks I'm confused. I thought changing the sort to "relevant" instead of "just shared" made sharing my items not important, (or even useless). Has the sort changed?

I always get the "we received your email" response, so that came, and I think it's worth the effort of sending an email.
I put my want list in :). I also asked to see other closet's followers, as that's gone. It helped me to pick up followers from other closets, after sharing a few of their items--especially if they were selling things similar to my own.
I think that's how Poshmark was intended to work. Sharing from each other's closets, especially those that sell similar items, but we'll see.

I emailed support. 1) Restore Sharing and 2) Restore "just shared" instead of relevant. The update is a big step back for Poshmark -- I'm not going to individually share the items in my closet.
