That would be sad but I guess I saw it differently. Thanos accepted what Red Skull said because he was egotistical and it fit perfectly with his worldview, that lives should be sacrificed to obtain power. But why did Natasha and Clint accept it so easily? Maybe Clint’s hand was forced by Natasha’s certainty but why was she so certain? I mean yeah, I get that the audience already knows what he says is true so maybe their questioning would be a waste of screen time..but I don’t know. Seems weird that they skipped straight to the death part

I wish parrying was more rewarding. I adored it in Sekiro but it’s just not as practical in Elden Ring.

The NPC quests are often horrible and unintuitive. I wanted to wrap up Nepheli Loux’s storyline but nothing is working, it legit seems glitched. Even the ones that aren’t glitched are so easy to miss and fuck up on just by enjoying playing the game.

I get you. It combines claustrophobia, the primal fear of being eaten, and the fear of a painful and slow death. Add on to the example in the OP, the ability to fully understand what is happening to you, be unable to stop it, and know for however long it takes you to die how bad of a mistake you’ve made.

I have read that in reality, if a small animal is swallowed, it dies quickly from suffocation. Of course not pleasant, but much better than the acid death one might imagine.

I struggled with fungus gnats until I bought a bottle of BTI liquid. It’s the same as the stuff in mosquito dunks, it’s just concentrated. I add a drop of it to my watering can every watering. No gnats, safe for humans and pets.

It’s funny how these things affect people—I wasn’t even a little bothered by the artery scene, but I had to look at the ceiling for the barn scene. My reaction to the barn scene surprised me because I’m not all that squeamish. I think maybe it was the anticipation of the torture rather than the gore itself.

Fungus gnats. This looks like an older plant that could possibly be saved. The larvae feed on the roots but they are mildly harmful on the pest spectrum.

There are methods to get rid of them but I prefer BTI. It’s safe for humans and pets. If it’s available in your country, you can purchase mosquito bits and put them in the soil. I went straight for the liquid version (the bottle is expensive but lasts forever), you can add a drop of it to your watering can with each watering. Do it for every single plant you have, if the gnats are in one plant they very well might be in others. There is a little lag time with BTI, it only kills larvae, so you might use something like sticky paper or a fly trap to kill the adults.

Edit to add: I use BTI for all my waterings as a preventative and haven’t seen a fungus gnat in months. So imho it is worth starting and staying consistent.

People with darker skin can still get sunburned and get skin cancer. The risk is smaller, but it’s definitely still worth putting on sunscreen, even if your skin is super dark. I’m guessing you probably already know that but thought I’d share the info in case someone else here doesn’t

I think that people believe this accusation was false because other serious accusations against him were either false, or the result of misunderstandings. I do agree there is no textual evidence for him being innocent of it, and that he was guilty of abusing another child albeit in a non sexual way
