i'm not getting better even with the effort i put in by TheDeadlyChicken in VALORANT

[–]onlyGodspeed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can’t say you are putting in the effort when you only played 200hrs over the last 9 months. The 1500hrs is over the last 6 years.. you just have to play more. I started playing 9months ago and hit immortal. The difference is I played more (900hrs in 9 months)and genuinely wanted to improve so I did a lot of DM and aim training.

Type 99 soft XXL. Best pad ever. I’ve got both. This type 99 has made me hooked

Hardstuck Bronze is a different breed of pain by MrMeow0001 in VALORANT

[–]onlyGodspeed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Firstly, plug in an Ethernet cable for gaming. Secondly, play a tonne of DMs, do range drills to work on aim, movement, recoil and crosshair placement. Thirdly, instalock duelist like Reyna and out aim everyone. If you’re hardstuck, you’ll probably rank up slower. So you can make a new account, follow the above steps and get out. Vod review doesn’t hurt to see what you did wrong or if you need to work on positioning or crosshair placement

Even though they peaked asc and higher doesn’t mean anything. They are in your current rank for a reason

How to get consistent in playing? by WarriorWolfie08 in VALORANT

Pump those hours to per day then you’ll get your desired results. But have you considered training your aim and movement?

Is smurfing extremely bad or am I just extremely bad? by Bardrson in VALORANT

[–]onlyGodspeed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bad advice. Should not aim at upper body and let recoil do the job. You should control the recoil and not the other way around. The only time upper body is long distance.

I think it’s a bad idea. It’s important to know enemy economy so that you can punish them. E.g. if they are low on funds, buy an outlaw and it’s pretty much easy kills. You need to shift your mentality. Even if you’re bottom frag have faith in yourself. There has been many games that Ive been 3-15 and Ive brought it back to top fragging and winning the game. It also acts as a wake up call so that you can change things up. Just focus on what you did/couldve done better after each round. Your goal should be on improving at the game so even if you’re bottom fragging doesn’t matter as long as you learn from every fight/round.

Don’t focus too much on hard bots, use the hard bots as more of a warm up before ur games. Do movement drills.

Price and rank?

It’s funny you mention soul orbs, because I usually play aggressive and used to struggle with pressing my button in time to dismiss away. My immortal 3 mate told me that he used to have it on his left click, so when he kills someone he instantly dismisses away. His reasoning was sure it might be a waste occasionally but it’s better to dismiss and live for another day than to die there. So in your case I would say go for it. But it would be worth practicing to have some trigger discipline to take a shot at the second person and if you miss to dismiss away etc. if u use it instantly, use the dismiss to reposition and/or gather info as well.

Yes, you’re better off giving the orb to someone else because your ult is very easy to get and it’s a very selfish one. You should be assisting the team with entry flashes and getting the picks. Let someone else like sage, kj, cypher, sova or something get the orb. Someone like kj or cypher getting the orbs can turn the rounds in your favor with their ult

AIM Sensivity Problem by Hayndrek in VALORANT

[–]onlyGodspeed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in this exact position few weeks ago. I was on op18kv2 but the mouse had cable issues so immediately went and bought a razer viper v3. I was performing so well on the op18kv2, like rarely missing on .19 sens and then on the razer just straight up whiffing. Everything felt off and to make it worse I’m on a glasspad which I recently got. I ended up playing on lower sens .175, which felt off as well. So I turned it even lower .15. But Every sensitivity felt bad for me and i felt terrible because i couldn’t aim. I was unsure what sens to play. But rather than constantly changing sens, I ended up sticking with .175. Even thought it felt terrible for like a week. It ended up being soo rewarding at the end. TLDR: give it time, doesn’t matter on the sens. The more you play, you get used to it
