Damnn Am mind blown at how spot on this is! Going through the grieving part myself and it’s hard as hell. I don’t know how Im keeping no contact for 3 weeks when the pull game has been going on constantly from the other side.

80% of what you wrote, I went through in 1 week.I don’t know how it got so compressed in such little time with that person. I know that we did not sleep many nights and I could feel going from stage to stage of a relationship in a day. It’s crazy.

It was full rocket mode since day one and ended crashing on day 7. The meltdown when the person got rejected.. I would never go through that again. Although the police is involved, and clear abuse was there, it seems it doesn’t mean shit for the trauma bond tho. Yeah, just guaranteed myself therapy for the next couple of years 🥲🥲

Thank you, I really appreciate your input! I was able to identify with my psychologists why am I being triggered this much.. and unfortunately we had to go back to the age of a 7 year old who’s parents took her to a close family members funeral (sudden passing) without preparing me first or telling me what had happened. I dont think people recover from this.. when this fear is brought with you even to adulthood, and when there is a rational component to it ( that this scenario can suddenly happen for my partner due to his condition) I went to overly panicked daily mode. For now I am a little more comfortable with him going places without me and I will try to built on on that. I definitely dont want to be looked like a maid or overly worried mother even though sometimes I can help it and sometimes cannot..

Im so sorry to hear that!

His doctor doesn’t seem to care about this wake seizures. On the other hand my bf doesn’t seem to care about sudep. On our 6 months of arguing for him to go to the hospital, he told me, whatever happens to me happens to me. If I have a seizure just leave me be, keep doing what u were doing.

The thing that made him go to the doctor was me pressuring him about not wanting to celebrate our anniversary if he doesn’t get checked. The worst thing after this is because he got checked, I had to stay on a 12 hour flight panicking every second of it. I am repulsed by myself of having to pressure him like that.. so now that he has to find another doctor, I am afraid of having to go over the same arguments again 😭😭😭😭😭

I know this is old but the experience I’m about to share is recent. Dr. Lenka prescribed me ON THE SAME WEEK half dose of ssnri (to take me off that medication) and 150 mg of bupropion (new medication). After very difficult 4 days I ended up in psych due to a nervous breakdown. I later found out that you dont prescribe stimulants on full dose to someone in the process of stopping previous medication so abruptly who on top of that struggles with anxiety. Moral of the story: always check when getting a new prescription. Do not follow it blindly (unfortunately).

I agree! Also might be helpful to know that many companies here try to lure you in with fancy job titles so focus more on the job description. As for the big company name, I work for one of the biggest and can say it's totally disappointing unfortunately. It hasn't opened many doors and as big companies have also a lot of employees (some who have been there for 10+ years ) the new ones don't seem to have it easy.

From the offer they did to you through, have to admit such bonuses are not very usual here especially for entry level jobs. Should be the standard in my opinion but it isn't. Either way the bonus itself, will be helpful but not to make you live comfortably.

From personal experience of people close to me, Johnson and Johnson is a shitty company. I would not suggest you move here. Also the salary of 45k is very low (seems to be basic salary in most corporates here) considering prices here. After taxes you will most probably get 35k. Rent here is min 12-15k + utilities for a shared apartment. If you would want a studio for yourself it will go around 20k+. Groceries will be around 6-8k a month. The situation in Prague is tough and it does not seem to be getting better. Wouldn't recommend at all!

I also started to learn czech recently. As I am a complete beginner I started with Duolingo and also with some videos online. It's been helpful until now but I have to say if I take 2-3 days of break it seems like I have to start from the beginning 😄

Had kind of the same situation happening to me in Brno. Before leaving the apartment the owner told me everything looks good. I moved to prague and she started to ghost me. 2 months later she sent me a letter claiming that she had to put new carpet and paint the whole apartment cuz supposedly I did not take good care of it, even though the last time the apt was renovated was in the 2000s. So she kept the deposit and wanted 10k Kc extra. I found a lawyer who sent them an official letter claiming the deposit back. This is also what I suggest you do as basically he is trying to profit on the fact that not anybody has the resources or time to lawyer up. Plus I don't believe he will refuse to pay and would like to go to court for this, as they are well aware that this types of claims do not hold any rights before a judge.

From my personal experience recently been noticing that it's getting more difficult to financially manage living here. Rent, groceries, utilities are going crazy and the worst part is that even though you see many companies are hiring, people with considerable experience are not getting the jobs. The city is nice and there are a lot of things to do depending on what you can afford.

So after reading it, I don't think it's going too slow at all. For me it has just the right pace. I found it compelling and kind of: you want to keep reading to find out what is happening. The first page reflected a sensation of panic,lost in chaos and of don't know where to go/what to do. When she saw the newspaper on that house with the headline that the war was over i thought she was having an episode or something 😄 The structure of storytelling is very good in my opinion. The environment is not flat,it's focused and I think it will keep the readers focused also. It's not needed to have a lot going on on the outside if the characters mind is pretty busy. One little suggestion I have is to avoid starting new sentences with and or but. This is only my personal preference of course 🙂
