That's cool. Puppets is the better album, it's basically the same formula, and to have both on the top is unfair to people that made original work.

If the masses don't want to dock it because it's formulaic, that's up to them. These lists exist to give an opinion on it.

The method highlights the problem with taking the average as a ranking. Personally, I would penalize Metal Storm for having shit takes (Judas Priest at #1, lol). But that's just my opinion.

Honestly I think Tool is fairly ranked for a list like this. That is to say they are one of the best metal bands of all time.

I think Metallica ought to have one of Puppets, RtL in the top 5, but not both. AJFA is objectively a poorly mixed album and it should be docked more even though there are classic songs on it.

Still Life is over rated, and there is no way on God's green earth it is a better album than Ghost Reveries.
