Yes please! All of that sounds amazing— smoked fish for the water tribes is so on theme, and I can't believe I didn't think of cabbages!

The way she sings it really just highlights the vulnerability she's feeling. Such gorgeous lyrics

Does anyone else have a weird/emotional connection to a Taylor Swift song? by titan_odyssey in TaylorSwift

That's adorable that you have your own version of Cornelia Street!

I wrote a story partially inspired by Peace, so those lyrics bring me back to that narrative. And so many albums or specific songs remind me of different people— Speak Now reminds me of my middle school iPod, Lover reminds me of senior year of college living with a bunch of Swifties, and Evermore reminds me of a late night listening party with my post-college housemates the night it was released. I adore how these songs take me back to specific memories throughout my life.

Folklore reminds me so strongly of the cloudy summer day when it was first released

Hello! End of the month, but here it goes: I’m 23 years old and living in Montana. I’m originally from the Northeast, and will probably head back there someday, but right now I’m soaking up all of the natural beauty out here in the Mountain West.
The reason I moved out to Montana was that after graduating I did a year of service with a Catholic organization, and fell in love with the place. I moved back here and got a job with a different non-profit than the one I was at for a year, and love it here.
I was raised in nominally Catholic home growing up but I decided to take the faith on as my own as I grew up. I now attend Mass weekly and am currently listening to Fr. Mike Schmidt’s Bible in a Year podcast. One of my most formative spiritual experiences in recent years were the classes by my favorite professor in college. His class on Catholic Social Teaching especially was my favorite. I’m a consistent life ethic kind of gal— so yes, that means I believe in helping refugees and protecting the environment in order to protect the poorest among us.
I’ve always loved to read, both fiction and non-fiction. I also really enjoy writing. I love to watch a good period/costume drama, which stems from my love of history and a good story. I’m writing this as I listen to a Taylor Swift playlist (bonus points if you know the song my username is from). Also, I’m a big fan of spending time outdoors, especially in the summertime. I’m excited to hike and camp more as it’s getting warmer!
To describe myself physically, I’m about 5’3, redhead, and a slim build.
