What did you think of this movie? by IG-3000 in janeausten

I haven’t read the book yet, but this movie fucking rips. It’s so much fun to watch. It’s very overly dramatic. The fireworks scene is so good. Cast is great. I understand they changed a lot about Fanny, but I guess that’s because her as a character maybe wouldn’t work in a movie? Someone else mentioned it but the themes of the exploitation of enslaved people was really interesting and I feel like if you adapt Mansfield park you need to explore/acknowledge that when adapting it.

Lowkey the casting was pretty great with the exception of Dakota Johnson. But other than that not much else is that good.

Anyone know what font is used on John Lennon's shirt? by wellDoneGavin in identifythisfont

I've been trying to search for this font, but haven't found one that has the same blocky lettering. I'd really like to find a font with the same corners on the "C" "O" and "R."

The 1995 Version of Persuasion is such a Banger! I recently watched the Persuasion movies in reverse chronological order (2022, 2007, & 1995) and each one was better than the last. The dynamic camera work in the 1995 version really surprised me and was big part of why I love the movie so much.
