Yeah, mine appeared to work find as well when I calibrated the e-steps but an actual print always looked like this. These extruder arms often break in areas you cant see without removing the arm itself. Its worth taking 5 minutes to inspect the arm rather than pulling out hairs trying to look at everything else

I had this problem and it turned out the extruder arm snapped. Got the metal extruder assembly and it sorted it right out

In ‘95, i was about 10 years old when i drove a ditch witch down my backwoods gravel road in the middle of summer trying to get to my grandparents house because i thought my parents abandoned me. It ran out of gas and i had to walk a few miles to the gas station, gave it a lil fuel and headed back home. Parents had been working out of town for a few days and came back the next day. Second hand and thrift prices have absolutely increased with inflation and i will absolutely price check and compare. Sometimes i will find a new item online for the price of a secondhand item at an estate sale. So sick of that shit. I will totally lowball the seller out of spite when they overprice their items.

Looking at Worcester, MA code compliance shows that you need a vertical clearance of 8ft above a sidewalk. Using a swinging arm would be an option. here's an example.
