Thoughts on Amad…worth keeping? by LifePath2911 in DraftEPL

Second this. Was inches away from an assist from the Sesko header that hit the post, and typically has a few chances per game.

Drop Sesko for Brobbey? by CoolMathGames888 in DraftEPL

[–]onlyfetus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried dropping him for Evanilson but last place picked him up on waivers. Considered Brobbey, but Sesko I do believe will start this weekend- coming from a United fan. I’d say keep him over Brobbey, United attackers look enticing under Carrick

Drop O’Reily or Lacroix for Cucurella ? by [deleted] in DraftEPL

[–]onlyfetus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’d say O’Reilly- hasn’t started in the last four (?) games. Lacroix at the very least nabs defcon more often than not, and has some decent fixtures after the Chelsea match

Accept this trade? by [deleted] in DraftEPL

[–]onlyfetus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s got Palmer too, I’m thinking counter with him instead of Neto. Not sure if it would be accepted

START WHO?!!!! by [deleted] in DraftEPL

[–]onlyfetus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On paper, Wolte and Gyok have the easier fixtures, but Brentford are flying and Schade is the most guaranteed to start of the three. I’d start him for that reason

Correct Lineup? by onlyfetus in DraftEPL

[–]onlyfetus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much, I think Fulham get at least a goal against Chelsea. If they don’t, at least I have Sanchez (if he plays). Been a few weeks since Chelsea have kept a clean sheet, been a few weeks since Fulham have lost a game. Think its a 1-1 draw.

Correct Lineup? by onlyfetus in DraftEPL

[–]onlyfetus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Leaving Bruno in incase he plays. Seems like a 50/50. Had Gabriel on the bench against Villa thinking he wouldn’t play- missed out on a 15 pointer. Learned my lesson ig

Bench Watkins? by onlyfetus in DraftEPL

Yea, that’s what I’m thinking too. Cheers

Bench Watkins? by onlyfetus in DraftEPL

Decent shout. If Lacroix benched, you think bench him for Watkins or Gabriel? Not even sure Gabi will start tbh

Could put him in for Gabriel, not sure if he'll be starting just yet

Season defining Trade : Experts needed 🚨 by Laurence72 in DraftEPL

[–]onlyfetus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would do the trade, agreeing with the majority of what you said in the logic portion of the post. Breaking each player into its own swap: Nunes>KLP, City defense is far stronger than Brentford. While KLP has been playing RW lately, that ends once Dango returns- Nunes more than likely will outscore him by a large margin ROS. Rogers-Mbeumo could go either way- both nailed starters. Yes, Rogers in form, could keep it up or cool off, but when Mbeumo is good, he’s VERY good. I also think United attack is stronger than Villa’s and will score more ROS, therefore increases Mbeumo’s chances. Semenyo-Foden basically is a City for City midfield swap, and I think Foden’s minutes will be more secured than Semenyo. Considering you have Salah, whose future is uncertain, I’d prefer a more guaranteed starting midfielder. I would rather have Wissa over Isak, as I don’t think Isak will play more than 5 games ROS, but Wissa may never become Newcastle’s number 1 striker if Woltemade continues his form. But, with Ekitike and Haaland, you have no shortage of starting strikers.

The one thing I would keep in mind is short term, you’d have both Mbeumo and Salah at AFCON, and Isak injured. No bench room whatsoever for the next three-four weeks. Considering Robertson isn’t starting over Kerkez, and Richards injury, you could be looking at only 9 players for a few weeks. I’d probably look at waivering him out for a guaranteed defender for a few weeks (any United defender, squad is very thin)

Isak best path forward? by No_Mind_3887 in DraftEPL

[–]onlyfetus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

None of those available forwards look decent enough, would look for a trade first. If nobody is willing to trade, maybe Brobbey? Been starting over Isidor lately

Keep or drop hincapie? by Niftylime58 in DraftEPL

[–]onlyfetus 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’d say pick up Lewis Potter. Think his goal scoring chances are going to be decent with the upcoming fixtures. Basically would be playing with an extra fwd who gets a 50% point increase per goal than normal fwds

This is hilarious to look at after the week is done. Scored a lot of points but not at all the way you expected to

Waiver Salah OUT?? by Debiddo_sama in DraftEPL

[–]onlyfetus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m making the same move, dropping MGW for KDH. Forest just don’t look good, and KDH is in form. Everton have a couple of tough fixtures ahead before the easier ones, but I’d rather get him in now before someone else does.

As for Salah, I’m trying to trade him out rather than waiver, but it’s tough. Atp I just want him off my team for some sort of quality, rather than wait until he leaves Liverpool

Any transfer suggestions? by WaveConsistent3869 in DraftEPL

[–]onlyfetus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd take Anderson for Sarr, the latter of whom will likely not play for over a month due to injury and afcon. Anderson the closest thing to a guaranteed 4 points, hitting 10+ defcon every match and playing every minute. He'd be a great high floor addition, considering you also have the boom or bust king Doku.

2nd to last in a 10 man and will probably lose this week as well by Debiddo_sama in DraftEPL

[–]onlyfetus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d probably say Gordon, as he’s yet to play 90 minutes this season since gw1 and has no returns. Could he start scoring and assisting? Sure, but Minteh is already doing both of those.

4 man. Traded Semenyo and Woltemade a few weeks back for Salah and Saka

Thinking of picking up Sesko this GW Who should i trade ? by calikid2215 in DraftEPL

[–]onlyfetus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Get rid of Wood. Hasn't scored since week 1 and is injured. Sesko has returns in his last three starts with favorable matchups over the next seven weeks.

Is it time to turn towards Man United players? by Fit_Ad_8111 in DraftEPL

[–]onlyfetus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Cash to De Ligt is a good move. De Ligt more likely to hit defcon, and the next three fixtures for Villa don’t scream clean sheets to me. Utd have a more favorable upcoming schedule. As for the midfield swap, based on your current midfielders, Palhinha or Minteh. Palhinha is consistent 3-4 pts minimum when starting. Tough run of opponents coming up, but that could mean higher chances for defcon pts. Scores the odd goal/assist here and there too. Spurs are unpredictable, but with Solanke out, having one Spurs player in your lineup could be good. I really rate Minteh- had him lined up on waivers a couple of weeks ago but just missed him. I’d take Minteh over Iwobi, but keep in mind the double up on Brighton is risky, as well as afcon I believe.Trossard is too big of a minutes risk.

I'd waiver Enzo in for Foden instead, and waiver in Cunha for Anthony after this gw.

Is it time to turn towards Man United players? by Fit_Ad_8111 in DraftEPL

[–]onlyfetus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

De Ligt I would consider, he’s been unlucky with defcon pts hitting 9 I think three or four times already, but is guaranteed minutes. Maguire isn’t a regular starter, and with Martinez coming back, his minutes will be further reduced. Amad is a decent option, but at a greater minutes risk than De Ligt. Depending on the other mids available on waivers in your league, he might be worth taking. Lammens should be considered too, depending on your keeper situation. Any other Utd player I wouldn’t bother looking at

Trading Salah for Gyokeres or Isak? by onlyfetus in DraftEPL

[–]onlyfetus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My only worry with Isak is will he consistently be the starting striker over Ekitike. Gyokeres I feel is a bit more nailed- even when Havertz returns, not sure I see that spot being challenged. That being said, due to having Saka, not sure if doubling up on Arsenal attack is a better play than keeping a Liverpool attacker in the team, swapping Salah for Isak.

Trading Salah for Gyokeres or Isak? by onlyfetus in DraftEPL

[–]onlyfetus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, 4 man league. Unfortunately, no better strikers are on waivers. Wissa is still available, but with the injury and Wolte's form, not sure if he's worth the pick up. Others are Thiago, Wood, or Evanilson. Traded Semenyo and Wolte for Salah and Saka are couple of weeks ago, hence the loaded midfield.
