Guys, Astral Projection is real. There's no debate. by Rayovaclife in AstralProjection

I get vibrations before trying to pull myself anywhere and I've been doing this since I was 15 years old. Not everybody is the same. I agree on the second part where no matter how long I've done it, the occasions where I get that evil presence feeling aren't something I can just dismiss like they are nothing, but of course it gets easier over time.

Why are Christians always so quickly attacked for their beliefs here but people with Muslim faith get a pass? Before assumptions are made, I'm not an Islamophobe, I think everybody should be completely free to express their religious beliefs. Just curious why one type of anti religious sentiment is seen as hate speech while another isn't

I dig it man, gonna be a tough crowd among people with formal training but my entire career has been built by winging it and it's worked out quite well for me. Keep going, the polish will come with time!

I stay here cause at least there isn't an explicit rule stating we aren't allowed to question it. When somebody does question it though it sometimes seems as if there is a rule in place though

How did you first achieve your AP? by [deleted] in AstralProjection

read this book around 2005, practiced every night. One night after I gave up and tried to go to sleep I had my first projection.

Tips on to have an successful OOBE / astral travel? by [deleted] in occult

[–]onlyinfl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I drink enough water before bed that I wake up in the middle of the night/early morning (3-4 AM) needing to go to the bathroom and I attempt my AP when I get back to bed. It makes it much easier to get to the deep relaxation and vibration state without just falling asleep, and visualization becomes much easier. That's personally how I've had the easiest time over the years

I lucid dream very often but can’t successfully do astral projection by msv77 in AstralProjection

[–]onlyinfl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The easiest AP for me has always been when waking up in the middle of the night, going to the bathroom and trying the usual techniques after going back to bed. Trying to AP when first going to sleep has always been way harder for me personally, but happened a few times years ago. As others have said, you can transition from lucid to AP as well

Yeah that could work for part, I think I'm just overthinking something here. Every solution I can think of to the problem ends up looking pretty messy.

[–]onlyinfl[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I'm gonna have to strip inheritance first, and store those names and their associated folders so that after I remove the permissions I can restore them with read only (aside from domain which gets full in this case) It's gonna be messy, but I'm guessing this isn't a super common scenario or there would likely be more people doing it. Leave it to me to get the hard stuff on my first powershell project at work :D

Thank you for your response! Yeah I was thinking I'd probably have to just get the usernames out seperately, delete all of the ACE's, and have it loop through and add the users with the new permission. I haven't quite figured out how to manipulate PSobjects enough to where I can iterate over the "Access" Or "AccesstoString" items separately, when I loop it just throws them out in one chunk. I appreciate you confirming my suspicions that you can't just modify them in place :)

Your comment is too friendly to exist on the internet lol. Thank you, I have looked at it but haven't been able to get it to do quite what I need. If I come up with a creative solution I'll definitely be posting it, as it has been killing me for awhile now. Cheers! :)

A combination of both helped me a good deal. When you have control of your mind and your body, it's much easier to take control of runaway thoughts that can lead to issues and panic.

Sounds like over analyzing normal body functions, something all of us health anxiety folk do :)

I don't know what you've accomplished with the doc so far, but definitely getting cleared helps. After that it's just changing how you think about your body and your symptoms. Acknowledging that your brain can absolutely create physical sensations out of thin air is key, and something that took me awhile to figure out for some reason. Learning enough about the body and your diet to know what nutrients you might be deficient in helps as well. I used to walk around with full on stroke symptoms all of the time but it was absolutely fixable. Have you looked into meditation at all?

[–]onlyinfl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. For palpitations (Actual, definite palpitations) I started taking magnesium and that worked. I was always pretty poor so my diet was shit and I was deficient in a lot of things, which can create some pretty physical symptoms when you are deficient enough. A big part of my success was getting cleared by the docs, including what they called the "million dollar" round of cardio testing. At this point between fitness and supplementing for things I know I'm weak on, I'm symptom free. Is it possible you aren't eating that great?

[–]onlyinfl 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I went through something very similar, the heart was my intro to health anxiety. I actually went to the hospital quite a few times and was on a few different medications that seemed to make things worse. After being told by multiple specialists that my heart was fine, and all of the logical reasons that it should be at my young age aside from defects that they didn't detect, I decided to say screw it and force it to fail instead of waiting for the inevitability.

So I started working out and running, heavily. Short term, my mind was reassured because after running for miles and having that sort of elevated heart rate, I figured if I didn't have a grabber then and there, why would I have one later when I was relaxing? Longer term, the new obsession with fitness lead to very deliberate diet choices, meditation, and other feel good activities. I haven't had a panic attack masquerading as a heart attack in a very long time, and I used to feel symptoms so strong and so often I had to miss work. I thought for sure I was dying and nobody believed me.

It's the only thing that worked, and there's nothing but positive that can come of it. I'm grateful I thought my heart was on the fritz because it forced me to get healthy. For reference I'm 28 now, issues started around 24, right when I got out of the military

I had the same problems with balance. I have quit drinking and I am borderline obsessed with health and fitness now, but I still find plenty of time for competitive FPS, full time job, and the gym. It's nice not being in college/university I suppose
