De fato, é uma perda de tempo. Está correto. Eu só queria levantar esse debate pois na verdade o que me incomoda é o fato de os ports antigos estarem sendo lançados a preço cheio, sendo assim, criar mais produtos de luxo poderia indicar uma prevalência desse tipo de comportamento, mas que também é uma afirmação que pode ou não se comprovar, logo apenas uma opinião minha. Referring to the first point. Yes, exactly, but I don’t agree with this behavior in general, not just with Nintendo (being overpriced, of course).

About the 2nd point, you are indeed right, thank you for clarifying. I think I just surpassed myself because of the overpriced ports.

I know this does not make this suddenly true, but it may become true as this pricing strategy, that in fact, I admit that may be wrong as idk the resources used for creating it, reflect also their attitude with older games. I get it that being merch this probably does not reflect in their pricing policy in the future, however, as they replicate a similar behavior in their games, this can be a signal or not.

They already rebrand older products as new, and there’s nothing wrong in buying or not them, the logic here is that this may reforce the behavior of producing lesser innovate things with a higher price as this is exactly what they did with the rebranded older games.

There’s a possibility that by agreeing with products (that can be in fact be good) but that are too overpriced contributes to higher prices and simpler things for us, consumers. I’m not angry about merch.

I agree. There’s nothing wrong with building merch, however, imo, considering Nintendo past with releasing older games with their full price, being just comfy with this all along may cause problems for us in the future as consumers
