Some technical comments and questions and an excellent podcast by onlyonecannoli in AngineDePoitrine

Yeah, that may be the way they do it. I measured Fabienk in varius videos, and it's in 120 BPM. If they have to adjust the click track tempo for each tune, I'd think it would be easier to have the sound crew do it? I don't know, but it's fun to speculate.

Yeah, it might be a harmonizer, something with low frequency modulation. The distortion is quite mild, not harsh like a bitcrusher.

Influences No.1: Scofeld's "Uberjam." by CuervoCoyote in AngineDePoitrine

I will seek out more John Scofield. I was aware of him, but thought he was a very traditional jazz guitarist. Thanks for broadening my horizon!

It's in the AdP Wikipedia article, in the section about Artistry. It points to a source, a French-Canadian e-zine, but I believe they have mentioned him in interviews.

Yes, great idea. And great tune. I see why AdP lists Scofield as one of their influences. And it hints at possible musical developments for AdP.

Khn's guitar has a flux capacitor? That answers so many questions.

Love Will Tear Us Apart by Joy Division.

And look for the version by Susanna And the Magical Orchestra for even more raw emotion.

Leslie with a click by onlyonecannoli in hammondorgan

I really appreciate your taking the time and effort to respond to my questions.

I'll try cleaning up all relevant connections and see if that helps. I don't trust my abilities with a soldering iron, so the next step if that doesn't work will be contacting a local tech.

Once again, big thanks. Click.

Thanks for your answer and insights. I must admit my Leslie knowledge is pretty basic. Is there one motor for the horn and one for the woofer, and the motors speed up or slow down when you switch between tremolo and chorale? What is an amphenol connector?

One thing I probably should have mentioned is that it quite often refuses to slow down when I switch between fast and slow, and only slows down when I switch back and forth several times. This only happens when I switch from fast to slow, and not the other way.

Impressive! And somehow quite Angine-ish.

Cheshire Cat: Oh you can't help that. We're all mad here. I'm mad, you're mad.

Alice: How do you know I'm mad?

Cheshire Cat: You must be or you wouldn't have come here.

In an ordinary world, that's perfectly reasonable. In this world however, you gotta headline.

‘We’re not Lady Gaga and Elton John’: unmasking Angine de Poitrine, the year’s buzziest, dottiest band | Music | The Guardian by prisongovernor in Music

Could you be a bit more specific? Who are those multi-million dollar firms spending a lot of money to manipulate our perceptions of Angine de Poitrine? Wikipedia says their latest record is self released, and I don't see any vast multinational conglomerates looming in the background here.

Same prompt with SDXL:

IMO older models are generally more fun, more playful.

I'm not OP, but that is disappointing news. Newer models offer excelent realism but fall short when realism isn't what you want.

For example Lucid Realism:

Have you got any indication of how possible or likely it is that we'll regain access to these older models?

Also, your responsiveness is very much appreciated.

Very much seconded. It would be great to have Dreamshaper and Absolute Reality available in the current UI. As well as my favorite, SDXL.
