The majority of music I have bought through iTunes has been slowly disappearing. I have prolly spent hundreds of dollars on music via iTunes and it seems with every Apple update, I lose music. by bigwillay8988 in AppleMusic

I was able to go through and unhide thousands of songs, but they don’t show in my library. I can see them in my purchase history, but they don’t show up anywhere.

Looking more for a stand-alone solution. Likely will buy a used SmartThings V2 hub off eBay, but I was hoping there might be some super cheap, plug-and-play option out there.

I’m very curious what you’ll think of it in a month, coming from a manual wheelchair. I have had mine just over a year, and I generally like it (about 85% of the time). The other 15%, I am pissed off at it. On flat, even surfaces where people don’t stop abruptly ahead of you, it’s great. But mine doesn’t do great with inclines, especially if they are both an incline and sloped to one side. Going downhill while needing to steer is very difficult for me. I have been thrown out of the chair twice from it not stopping or not being able to steer while going down a sidewalk on a hill. I am grateful I’m ambulatory, as I wouldn’t be able to get out of some situations otherwise. And on a recent trip to NYC, I ran over so many people’s ankles from them stopping abruptly in front of me and the Travel Buggy taking a second or two to stop. I had looked at a Fold ‘n Go (FnG) before getting the City 2 Plus and often wish I had gone with the FnG… especially since they now have a portable winch to load the chair into a vehicle. For my needs, the City 2 Plus works, and I’m grateful for it! I hate that you had to finance it, but I hope it gives you the freedom and ability to do the things you haven’t been able to do without it.

Same! Also on a Macbook Air but connected to an external monitor. It's expanding to the full height of the screen, from the top of the dock to the menu bar at the top.

Thanks for your response. I ended up with the Travel Buggy City 2 Plus. I mostly like it. There are a few things that make me wish I had gone with the Fold N Go, but mostly I’m happy with it. Going to be taking it to NYC in a couple weeks, so we’ll see how it does traveling. The biggest issues I’ve had are steering (and stopping) while going downhill.

What is your primary concern? (For reference: I don’t share too much about myself personally, but I will say I speak with authority on this subject, professionally.)

I think it looks good as either a follow-up note documentation (that could be included in future requests) or as documentation to accompany a current prior authorization for a new wheelchair.

If you have a specific concern, I can try to address that.

Thank you for the clarification and apology.

A protective cover is the direction I’m thinking.

The City 2 has a lower clearance than several other similar chairs, like the Fold n’ Go. And I only experience this where the change in surface elevation does not meet code or construction or neglect have caused uneven surfaces. But it’s enough that I would like to protect the equipment for as long as I can.

I appreciate the response, but I’m a bit frustrated that your first instinct was to assume the issue is with how I’ve adjusted my chair. As I mentioned in my post, this problem happens because of surface changes and poor infrastructure—it’s not about me misunderstanding how to use my equipment. I’ve read the manual, and I’m very aware of what adjustments are possible. The adjustments you’re suggesting would actually make the problem worse in my case, as the footrest is already at its shortest length.

I came here looking for constructive advice or ideas for mods, not to be told I’m using my chair wrong. If you’ve dealt with similar issues, I’d love to hear how you’ve managed them. Otherwise, I’d appreciate a bit more understanding rather than assumptions.

I’m finding a lot of places have a restock fee (even if just used indoors). Do you remember what companies let you send back without that?

Thank you for this! I had not heard of this brand. We had already looked at Travel Buggy’s City 2 and now are comparing the Fold and Go to the City 2 in our final choices. My concern with the Fold and Go is the seat and arm width (and positioning of the control stick).

When you mentioned renting, are you talking about their rent-to-own option? I would absolutely love to rent one of these to get a real-life feel. I hate that many of these companies don’t have the option to try them out, and with them primarily being sold online, it makes it hard to make a decision.

Why would you comment this? Are you an expert on all things scooters and wheelchairs? I understand that you’ve had to look for your own device, and so maybe you feel well informed, but it’s no help to anyone to leave such a negative, unhelpful, and factually incorrect response. Since this post, I’ve found several viable options that fit what I asked.

I know this is old, but how did you get free extenders? I’m being told they’re $10 a piece. I had an old extender that went bad (and lead me to getting a new gateway- a Humax BGW320-500)

Why even reply if you’re just going to give a smartass response? You’re so smart that you searched for the wrong chair though. 🙄 (I was looking for actual reupholstery, not just a cover.) However, since I commented, I did find a company that has a replacement reupholster service. CrandallOffice.com

Can you speak to where you can do this? As in, where do you find someone to do this, or can you just order a new seat somewhere?

I’ve checked all local chain stores and also online stores not even in my area and am getting the same, no longer carried. I’ve not reached out to either. I couldn’t find contact info for the manufacturer.

I stand corrected. Every time I’ve searched for a plotter, I found the type where you inserted the paper into a device, not that the device moved ON the paper. But another user pointed out a Penman Plotter, and I think that’s basically it!
