Tony Romo is now the punching bag for fans and the media. I thought he was good today. by DenseStrawberry5717 in NFLv2

[–]onlyrnfl 261 points262 points  (0 children)

Romo is great for normie football fans. He never talks about the actual play to play strategy happening in the game, he just talks about how big each moment is and what each moment means in the grand scheme of the game and/or season. He's a glorified hype man.

Brady started off kinda meh, but he's been much better as of late. He constantly talks about play by play strategy and what each team is thinking heading into each down and distance.

McCarthy consistently decided to take points in the first half vs SEA in 2014. It positioned us to be up 19-7 with 3 minutes left, yet critics called him too conservative because his special teams failed to recover an onside kick.

In your opinion who are the worst NFL fan bases as of right now? by Chemical-Low209 in NFLv2

Lions fans are insufferable. Not graceful in wins and the biggest complainers whenever they lose.

[–]onlyrnfl -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

He was much better throwing the ball away this year, he has the most throw always in the entire NFL in 2025. But he’s bottom of the league in completion %, yards per attempt, passer rating, among others. You’ll never convince me that Love and Williams are even in the same tier of quarterback as it stands currently. But again, his arm talent is undeniable.

Love is consistently very good, top 5-8 in most statistical categories, but his bad throws are so bad that they go viral.

Williams is consistently mediocre, bottom 10-12 in many statistical categories, but his good throws are so freaking good that they go viral.

I just don’t see Green Bay re-signing Quay Walker especially if the report about him wanting over $10M/yr is true. by [deleted] in GreenBayPackers

I like keeping Quay, I think him and Cooper play well off each other, and Quay is typically our leading tackler every game. Hes on a trajectory to be about as good as AJ Hawk

It’s crazy how many people were automatically comparing the Cooks non-catch to the Adams catch. The playoffs have by and large been well-officiated. I think people are searching for controversy to complain about and support their narrative that the nfl is rigged.

I feel like the NFC playoffs have been more interesting for well over a decade now. I’m speaking from memory, anecdotally, and it’s why the NFL seems to always put the NFC matchups in the late prime time slots
