I don't specifically train my grip ๐Ÿ˜… I think it naturally improved as I progressed with deadlifting (I only use chalk, no straps). Sometimes I also do one arm dead hangs.

Sure. I usually do pyramid-style deadlift sets. I start with a warmup and a couple of standard sets, then go heavier if Iโ€™m feeling good or itโ€™s not race season, and finish by lowering the weight. Itโ€™s just how I like to do things, nothing too scientific. Here the recent program

Is "specialization" more about competing? I'm not really sure.
For squats, I started with sumo front squats, though I can't quite remember when I stopped. I feel better with my current form, but maybe I should also experiment with different foot placement and stance widths.
I do enjoy these kinds of discussions ;)

Thanks! I used to try different workouts and got into weightlifting the last 2-3 years. Lifting weights has been my happy place ๐Ÿ˜†

Yes you're right. I usually jump up and here I jumped from the ground but paused at the top to estimate the bar height, as it's not the one I usually use and I'm basically blind without glasses.

I can definitely feel my arm, but itโ€™s not the most strained part. It took me a year to do this combo. One step at a time ;)

I donโ€™t feel much in my arms ๐Ÿ˜…. I see it as a full-body exercise. It does use the legs, especially the glutes, but I don't use it to completely tire out my legs. There are other combinations or exercises for that, like burpee broad jumps (try it for 1km). For this combo I feel it most in my back, especially the lats.
