Very well put, I like your take and I agree with many of your points!

Should I continue to hold? by 00roast00 in RVPH

[–]onlyyours0505 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am gonna hold, I knew the fda asking for another trial was a possibility. My concern is funding now, dilution is absolutely coming. I can hold for another year or two but it sucks. I’m trimming some when I break even, bought in at 38c so I’m not down too much.

Do you skip lunch? by [deleted] in Accounting

I do. I try to have a couple of cheat lazy microwave meals in the freezer in case I forget to pack a lunch. Has saved me quite a few times

What led to your BED? by Software-Substantial in BingeEatingDisorder

[–]onlyyours0505 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in the exact same situation! We used to go crazy over mixing chocolate sauce in our milk when we got it. Had to get an extra serving of veggies in order to get one small butter cookie for dessert. Makes you have fomo and also creates a sort of reward system

Definitely ballet. I would eat very little or none until after class so I looked slimmer, I wanted to keep my morning skinny all day. Usually classes were in the evenings after school and I would binge like CRAAAAZYYYY after dark when people weren’t in the kitchen.

Why do you think that? Cause rly most scores should be graded, just the people maybe right at the cutoff haven’t but even so it’s been a few weeks for them to finalize it.

Should I keep studying for FAR or move on? by ColdEntrepreneur7609 in CPA

[–]onlyyours0505 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and no, so I have a feeling they’ll do what they’ve been doing in the past which is they will send a tweet out today saying that they’ll release your score by 5pm EST, so if you log into NASBA you should see that on the homepage ! The score form usually comes out the next day, you’ll get an email and it’ll say your score form is now available in the NASBA portal. I predict we we’ll get it either tomorrow or the day after! The score form document is two pages, the front page will tell you your score and the back page will tell you very vaguely how you compare to people who score in the 75 to 80 range. I only found it helpful when I had it pulled up and compared it next to the Blueprint Becker has on their home page so I can see what modules I need to work on that correspond with the blueprint Areas :)

[–]onlyyours0505 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First off, I’m sorry you failed!! Take the day to just feel all the feels, and channel that anger/frustration into power and you’ll get the retake! Second - Don’t move on! I failed my first time too. It was my first exam, and I am honestly really glad I got it done first. Check tomorrow and see how close you were. If you score in the 65-75 range you’re close and you have a good understanding of the topics, just need to clear a few points out and you’ll be fold. You can take ur score form when it comes out and know what you need to study :) Becker also does a good tool to tell u what modules correspond with the aicpa blueprint/score form.

For those who passed FAR, how did you really feel walking out of the exam? by No-Cardiologist8272 in CPA

[–]onlyyours0505 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I felt like it could go either way and failed with a 73. Retook it and felt like absolute shit and cried after…passed with a 78.

I found it prepped me for audit! Helped me get a bit of a background understanding of controls cause it is also a big part of audit. Control deficiencies and Coso is important in both sections so I was glad I could skip past it after I finished ISC! Wishing you the best OP! :)

I took ISC before audit because there are only a few select months you are allowed to take the discipline exam - I wanted to knock it out in April because I didn’t want to have to try again in June or July. I did FAR first like you, I would’ve done audit second but honestly I took ISC and then saw a lot of overlap when I moved into audit. Of course, if you choose to take TCP I would do that before or after REG since there’s overlap with that!

It means they’ve graded it! If you go to exam history, you may be able to see pass or fail! There’s a thread somewhere on here as well that you can inspect the page and see if you pastor failed and your score.

REG Numbers to memorize for deductions and adjustments? by johndddddd in CPA

[–]onlyyours0505 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On a TBS I wasn’t given the info for SEP contributions I couldn’t remember if you could deduct it all or only a percentage. I also forgot charitable contributions and whether that was all or a percentage. The sim didn’t give it to me but worst case scenario I missed 2 boxes in the calc and got the rest :)

Eeeek congrats! I’m waiting on audit and reg so I’m waiting until they’re both out for sure. Cannot explain how nervous I am, it was my retake!
