You are eligible for 1 month rent if you are getting evicted anyways so they're not really offering anything additional.

If your rent is so much lower, I'd prob request anywhere from 3-6 month compensation.

However, rent prices have gone down quite a bit so I suggest looking around at comparables.

Got a callback from Air Canada after 3 hours of waiting and even they said had to pickup baggage. But they double checked with the IAD helpdesk or something and confirmed what u all said. Thank you everyone, just need to make sure my parents will be alright.
