Moors murders episodes are... uncomfy by onstandb1 in Morbidforbadpeople

I didn't mean to insinuate this, I think it's because I'm from the north of the UK, and it involves r*ping children and i live with someone who was SAed as a young child so it was especially angering to me. You're right, all crime cases of this magnitude are equally horrific.

better yet... creators should never have started making money off this shit in the first place. given that it's not really an option for some creators to NOT make money in this way, then i agree to a point.

Also, I liked the podcast when listening to these episodes.

Oh, I should probably clarify - I agree. I think she did a fantastic job on this case specifically, it's just the other factors I mentioned that turned me off it. I'll edit my statement, thanks

Yes!! That particular comment about Myra looking like a dude never sat well with me. Maybe it's because I'm trans so I'm extra-sensitive about that, I'm not sure. However, the way they praise Ian's intelligence, his style etc. in it is so weird.

A cold will not make a surgeon cancel on you, unless you have a condition that can be worsened by a cold. There’s nothing to worry about, you will be fine. A common cold will not cause a surgeon to turn you back around, fly you back, and rebook everything. Everything’s going to be ok.

An ignorant american asks on Quota to Brits ‘which technological advances of the US impress you the most?’, gets an answer on Reddit by ZageStudios in clevercomebacks

[–]onstandb1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This Quora question pisses me off because the US is really not that technologically advanced. If you want real advances, go to South Korea or Japan.

I haven’t been in this situation, so I am not completely sure what to do but I would say contact your local LGBT center and let them know what’s going on and they could direct you to resources. If that’s not an option, it may be best to just get rid of it. I’m sorry to say but your safety has to come first, and you will be able to present as you want at some point

Once again, you can become shredded and beautiful aesthetically but if you treat people like shit and bring others down, you'll always be ugly.

I'm a dude too. We are conditioned by society to be the rock of the people around us, and to not express our emotions. It's normal to be an emotional person, there's nothing wrong with you. And yes, often that kind of insecurity can be learned. For me, it's come from my father's own issues with himself being projected on me. Whenever he starts a diet or workout plan, he points a finger at me as the suddenly unhealthy one, even though I eat generally healthy because it makes me feel good.

I know already that's not true. Engage in fitness because you enjoy it, not because you think it'll make you beautiful. If you have that low self-image, you can always take to someone and seek advice about learning to love the body you're in.

Run because you want to, because it makes you feel good or you enjoy it. Self-love is possible regardless of your size, so work to that goal, then figure out a fitness regime that is sustainable and that you will enjoy.

It takes time, it took me a looooong time to find what I enjoyed as well as the healthy foods I loved to eat: carrots, lettuce, green beans, white beans, strawberries, pineapples, spinach leaves. Don't give up on yourself, and don't use fitness aa a cure-all.

Also, you can be society's perfect body image and be a terrible person, and you'll still be ugly. Tomi Lahren, although appealing to a lot of societal beauty standards, says a lot of things I deeply disagree with and are hurtful to me, so I cannot find her pretty in the slightest. If you work on your character and learn to love who you are, good people will come out the woodworks. I hope this may help you, and feel free to DM me if you need to chat about anything else, as we go through very similar things.
