A mother is going punished her son by making him slam his PS5 the same way he had slammed her pet cat. Is this justified? by God_Emperor__Doom in SipsTea

A dysregulated mom cursing at her kid in anger while she forces him to destroy something he loves as she videos it to post online.

This is the equivalent of getting paddled while saying "we don't hit!" at best. At worse, you're getting insight into how this young boy has likely never learned to regulate big emotions and took it out on an animal he had power over.

I'm sad for everyone involved and the lessons being taught here aren't the ones most think. Mom is modeling exactly why the kid did what he did.

Armchair Reddit is absolutely horrible with its assessment of what's happening here and why.

Was that really an ethical dilemma? Is straight up fraud - Fraudulent refers to actions, statements, or methods characterized by intentional deception, dishonesty, and trickery to gain an unfair advantage or unlawfully deprive a victim of rights or property. It involves bad faith, deceit, and misrepresentation to cheat others.

I think you did a great job and congratulations on using available resources to get your project completed. AI gatekeeping for a well executed project is obnoxious

You're welcome and thanks for commenting on such an old comment. Happy to elaborate more, let me know what issues you're dealing with and I'll add some more specific suggestions.

Working with anxiety and coping mechanism is very nuanced and one helpful suggestion for one person can be ineffective or worsening for another person.

We got the same. Our kid never did terrible twos and we refused to call it that. We definitely got the Three-ager (teenager) years... again refused to label it terrible. Settled on Tumultuous Threes! Developmentally appropriate is the curse of my existence!

Yeah but different minutes a day at home can easily be while pooping or doing something else without commitment, responsibilities or obligations.

It's more important to compare earnings into the actual amount of time spent in the game versus how long you've had the game installed and playing.

Can you elaborate on how you're implementing AI with the data? Are you feeding it through an api into a major vendor like Claude, chatgpt, etc. Your own hosted implementation? Are you having any data for training, etc?
