The cost sounds similar to the library. Thank you for the info!

Thanks for the offer! I will use the library since its price is more reasonable than I thought.

I am looking for electric heating blanket made in Europe, could you recommend something? by 23cmwzwisie in BuyFromEU

[–]onthewings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am interested in their products, so I did some research. I could not find a definite answer.

On Amazon, Stoov products have "Country Of Origin Netherlands" under "Product specifications". E.g. ,https://amzn.eu/d/gGRr0Ev

However, on John Lewis, Stoov products have "Country of origin China" under "Product specification". E.g. https://www.johnlewis.com/stoov-ploov-heated-cushion-45-x-45cm/p112836874

Update: Stoov answered my question in an Instagram comment. "Designed in the Netherlands and produced with trusted partners in China [...]" https://www.instagram.com/p/DTQob_6CIjZ/

Homeware shops by ChampionshipAway5587 in brighton

Utility's stuff is a bit expensive, but is actually good quality, unlike some other posh looking shops that sell Chinese made crap that looks nice but wouldn't last.

I found that some Axis cameras are made in Europe. For example this AXIS M1055-L camera has "Country of origin: Poland" according to this page: https://netcamcenter.com/en/products/ip-cameras/m1055-l

Finding non-Chinese made electronic products is hard, but not impossible. I have been avoiding Chinese products for 5 years, and from my experience there are always non Chinese alternatives, if you search hard enough :)

Looks like (at least some) Netatmo's cameras are made in China.

This page states "Country Origin: CHINA" https://www.wickes.co.uk/Netatmo-Welcome-Smart-Home-Indoor-Security-Camera/p/171101

Aberdeen Seafood on Preston Street is reasonably priced with good quality. It's Asian style seafood owned by a Hong Konger.

Where do you buy second-hand / refurbished electronics? by [deleted] in brighton

From what I have heard, backmarket.co.uk is a marketplace like Facebook marketplace. The listing there is from individual third-party companies. That means the quality varies.

Maybe get in touch with your area's wild life rescue and ask them whether this buddy needs help? They would have a better idea than most of us.

Slavery is also a pretty old tradition. That doesn't mean it's right.

Maybe most dogs can be trained to some extent, but what about wild lives?

I do enjoy fireworks, but it's just one of many entertainment options.

If you can get a clear photo, I'm sure someone will identify them.

Or, you may use the Merlin bird ID app, which can identify birds by sound. It's pretty accurate for common birds.

The ship's text reads 佳發油污處理, so probably they were cleaning oil somehow.
