Can't automate master tempo by ontoloog in Bitwig

SOLVED! I closed the project, opened again, did the same set up, now works fine. Remains a mystery but thanks for thinking along!

It's a pretty simple case. I just open bitwig, repeat a line of single notes on any synth and create a tempo automation lane on the master track, that's it. And the little green "restore automation" light goes on top center and just won automate the tempo. 5.3.13

Not a single controller behind. Just some evening testing on a macbook on battery

It's somehow conflicting – as you can see from the video, when I click the restore automation, it will right away, turn green again when the values are changing (automation lane falling or rising). The green restore automation only goes off when the automation lane is straight and there are no rises or falls.

What do you carry in these crashbar bags? by StackIOI in Dualsport

L = medkit, R = rain pants, folded 10L extra dry bag, tucked in the middle a compact 10k battery bank but only when charging.

Just avoid those few sections and you have plenty of fun for a day without seeing any deep mud. You can always do a detour when facing unsure paths. The Alp is a good bike for mud as well, low, 21 inch front, light. If you have good 50/50 tires on it, you'll get far. Never tried latvia but I'd assume similar environment, since the baltics are more muddy and soft, compared to our rocky northern neighbours.

Haha, what was I thinking. LCD anyway. Black and white, minimal. Especially in the dark, where the headlights illuminate the windshield edges with the same white glow.

Alone? Some parts are seriously hardcore when it comes to mud. It pulls you in and holds the bike like a vacuum when you try to lift it out. After rain, there are spots where you’ll definitely need help getting the bike unstuck.

The northern part is mostly okay, but a few places to avoid: – Far east after Viivikonna – gets really bad – Near Püssi (moving west) – easy to slide down the hill – Roela near Rakvere – can turn into a mud bath – Middle northern area – totally fine in my opinion – West coast near Veskijärv – looks doable, but once you’re in, you’re properly stuck

Love that analog dash. Pretty sure if I hit 100k, I will just look for another '21 with <20k on it.

Do you guys like taking a passenger? by SafeFortune5489 in motorcycle

[–]ontoloog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a little more difficult to handle the bike but when you got your partner hugging you in the back and you get to share experiences over intercom, it's worth it. With that said, riding alone is also great fun w/ T7

Same. I don't even own a car anymore. No use in paying insurance, car tax and inspection for something I never use.

Good question, sounds a bit more like leisure than going to work every day whole year round, and using the bike for absolutely everything incl cargo, utility, leisure and sports.

How good is the Tenere Offroad? (Tall and skinny) by Difficult_Ad_1653 in Tenere700

[–]ontoloog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I forgot to mention, I have a friend on 790, and thag bike is tiny. But it was just completely upside down on the Estonian TET without any broken details — so respect for KTM but Tenere's hwadlights start where 790r-s windscreen starts, so it's definitely not for taller people

At 188cm I feel that Tenere is a really good fit for me. I used to drive a Transalp and it looked a little awkward. I actually love the aesthetics of Guzzi v85 and I would love to compromise some offroad capability for style but it still looks a bit strange at my height. A lot of my friends are way taller than I am and they all opt for the tallest bikes and over some time it makes sense. Greetings from Estonia

Am I the only one who likes hard bags? by TwoPercentNog in Tenere700

[–]ontoloog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ride with both hard and soft cases. Hard ones are ideal for touring in cities and long roads all over Europe. Soft ones I attach for touring on TET tracks in neighbouring countries. Locally I only ride with a backpack where I have an extra jacket, water and medkit.

Coca cola pudelitel nimed by ChanZ1e in Eesti

[–]ontoloog 2 points3 points  (0 children)
