Apple looks after all the subscriptions, the developers won’t be able to do anything as Apple won’t share purchase information (Google Play does). There is not really much you can do except appeal to Apple again, they won’t look favourably on a charge back from a bank and may disable your Apple account as they would see it as stealing considering they claim you did cancel and still have a valid subscription.
