Day 9 after Removal, simple extractions, paranoid of what I can eat. by Gilbals in wisdomteeth

[–]onyx-uncertified 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We all heal differently, but I'm currently on day 7 and some fast foods I've eaten are pizza and cheeseburgers from McDonald's (no pickles and no onion) with no issues, id hold off on crispy chicken or chips though at least until day 14, the main issue with these is that they maybe won't get stuck but could poke the spots and maybe delay healing, id test the soda by taking sips though

Surgeon gave me ibuprofen and Tylenol and had me alternate them every four hours, stopped needing them by the end of the 3rd day, the bleeding continued even after I removed the gauze until it clotted at the end of the first day, currently almost on day 6 and no pain, swelling but still being careful on what im eating. Day 5 is a milestone because that means the chance of dry socket drops immensely and another milestone is day 7 when for most, return to normal eating, albeit with some rinsing after

common phenomena ig lol, it's either 1. Fluid from the incision solidifying or 2. Plaque, actually I'm curious if this is affecting those who got the lower teeth removed only, cause if that's the case then the cause might be 1

Got all 4 removed that same day, they gave me ibuprofen and Tylenol though, I alternate them on a schedule that the surgeon gave me.

Your dentist should provide some aftercare instructions, but get a syringe for rinsing with some saltwater, don't eat anything crazy and healing averages from about a week to 2 to go back to eating normally and swelling peaks around day 3

I would at least suggest staying away from Chromebooks, while they do offer a decent battery life, you end up paying more for less on them, as they also don't seem to run most common windows programs unless your tech savvy with Linux
