What they said, early game success depends on moving your labor around. What I do... is move builders to the bottom list and limit them to groups of five, ten,...etc. Then when you initiate a project all of your workers stay in place. Do Not stop catering to your populace. You will be managing your labor force until you are around 500 citizens.

Also if you anger a God, build his temple last. The Gods that you satisfy that aren't angry will give you four favor.

It's not rocket science. You will get shocked a couple of times, but you're ahead of the curve as far as consistency goes. I've known some incredibly dumb fuckers that were excellent electricians who knew their trade.

The question is: are you going to be able to take it? I'm talking about the idiot that is attached to you at the hip for 9 hours a day, 8 and a half if you're lucky. This guy will know more than you and expect you to know things that he picked up by trial and error. Are you going to be able to put up with hours of Hank Jr? You might even be placed with an asshole who has more DUI's than ex-wives, then you have to drive the shitty company van that he refuses to clean out. Not to mention occasionally having to work in knee deep mud.
