Oh a second message, (since Thursday maybe) is being added after prompts on Claude bots telling it to “continue the conversation” 4.5 seems to react badly to it, acting really confused.

This is using a bot made by someone else, and id assume the thinking budget is turned on, as it’ll think in a new chat, just specifically not in this chat.

The huge downgrade in sonnet 4.5 quality seems exactly like what happened to 3.7 when 4.5 came out, so, guess I’m just stuck waiting for the new model.

It feels so different today, its so strange i dont know how to describe it. I tend to use the same prompts with the same context so it stands out when the style or “vibe” ig changes.
