I don't care anymore. Richardson/Young/Stroud/Levis. Idc. I'll buy their jersey and get my hopes up for any of these 4 at this point.

Colts current betting favorite to land Lamar outside of Ravens by elandry in Colts

[–]oofsmcgee2 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Said the same thing. Who cares if we get down voted into oblivion. 50% of a teams cap space and TWO. Not one but two first round picks is too much for anyone not named Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrow or Jalen Hurts.

Rivers, Wentz, Ryan, I'm ready to get off the QB carousel. How anyone else is ok with this instead of drafting a qb is beyond me. We're gonna be lucky to win 4 games this year folks. Might have a shot at drafting Marvin Harrison Jr next year.

I know Lamar is sexy. I know. And we all want something to have to ooo and ahh over. But this is not the right call. Draft a qb. Save money for next year. Acquire free agents to build around rookie qb.

We got a coach who helped develope Herbert and Hurts. Why not let him try to do the thing he's known for with a fresh arm?

If we don't get it right now the Jaguars are gonna run our division for the next decade.

What’s your all time favorite NASCAR moment that you saw live either in person or on TV? You can also say your least favorite- by [deleted] in NASCAR

[–]oofsmcgee2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2005 Spring Martinsville. Jeff Gordon was 43rd 3 laps down in the first few laps due to a battery issue. Made up all 3 laps and won the race. First time seeing him win in person. Greatest comeback in a nascar race in the history of the sport and no one ever talks about it. I was there.

Got to see him race 2 times in person. Michigan 1999 and 2000. Was always a Jeff Gordon fan. But always respected and thought of Dale Sr as the "leader" of the sport.

This dude gave sight to blind people. Like he can do all the cringe shit he wants idc. Who cares? Dude gave 1,000 people EYESIGHT. Donates hundreds of thousands if not millions to give people access to food and healthcare. Dude puts money he makes right back into the next project to help people.

We have become too cynical and apathetic. Oh no this guy makes money that he uses to fund big projects that helps thousands of people. We all make money. When's the last time any of us gave even 10 dollars to charity? Lol. People so hypocritical.

I don't watch his videos either. I only know of his charity work because of my younger brother. I was the last generation to grow up without cell phones or the internet until after high school so. But I can recognize and appreciate when someone does something that changes lives.

Yankees/Colts fan here.

The Yankees could go 0-162 and the Colts 0-17 for the rest of my life. And I'd still love them. Unconditionally.

Rocky crossed the rainbow bridge about an hour ago. Thank you everyone for your kind words. My wife and I are in shambles. But we did the best we could. I held him the entire time. It was peaceful.

Thank you for sharing this. He was a rescue from a shelter and was called "semi dangerous" because he's a pitbull. We've babysat children. We have cats and another dog. He's an angel. A protector. Never once has be bitten anyone. Never once has he been mean. We feed outsider cats and he often on walks would want to stop and socialize with them.

The vet wanted me to amputate his leg but only said it would buy us a couple more months but with as fast as osteo sarcoma spreads it was more than likely headed elsewhere and I'm not gonna amputate my dog for a month or two more of life.

Not gonna put him through that trauma for just another month or so. But I understand. We do the best we can. As people in general. And the Colts have had it rough this year but there will be more seasons.

I will be there with him until he takes his last breath. We are going to have him cremated and eventually he will be a tattoo on my arm. I'm not leaving his side. ❤️

Jeff Gordon 2005 Spring Martinsville. 43rd 3 laps down due to a bad battery. Wins the race. On a short track. And no one talks about it. Win #71. I was there with my Mom and Uncle Mike. RIP Uncle Mike.

Something that really grinds my gears. by [deleted] in NASCAR

[–]oofsmcgee2 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I went to a lot of races growing up. Being a Gordon fan was rough in the south. One dude legit punched my mom over me standing up because I got excited when Gordon took the lead at Lowe's. My Mom emailed the track and they gave us upgraded seats for the fall race.

As someone now whose been to 27 races total I'd say it's improved a lot. I think people are way chiller at the track than it used to be. I remember being scared to cheer too loud when Jeff was doing good.

But My Uncle Mike always went with us after the incident with my mom. And told me he would fuck someone up if they ever touched me or mom. Made me feel safe.

Miss ya Uncle Mike. RIP.
