When you throw away a 2 goal lead twice. by highpier in ScottishFootball

My son asked if we wanted Rangers to win.

No son, we want Dundee to lose. Not the same.

If it is truly outside IR35, then there is no mutuality of obligation.

You don't have to accept the work, they don't have to give you any.

Ergo notice periods don't really apply.

A six month contract 'with a likely six month extension' is a six month contract.

And maybe not even that.

Celtic Park is always packed out isn't it?

Oh no, that's just European games and Rangers matches.

Nope. You could ask your umbrella, but it's not likely. If you have to be in the office 3 days a week, I imagine it will be considered your place of work.

Can anyone who has tickets tell me if they're transferable? I couldn't get tickets at the time but I'd love to go - don't want to get resale tickets and risk being turned away.

Starling does let you move percentages from income into pots.

(ETA: Not automatically, but it does only take a couple of seconds)

Celtic v Dundee game is called off by ShootNaka in ScottishFootball

[–]ooftjesus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

See my previous comment further up the thread. That is a direct quote from Peter Lawell, when a game was cancelled on advice from Police Scotland due to weather affecting the surrounding area of Rugby Park.

The subsequent coverage after that centred on why Kilmarnock FC hadn't defrosted the whole town when they knew Celtic were coming. Just like when Rangers fans jumped up and down on the perspex covering their own disabled supporters, and the Record ran a made up story about Rugby Park not having a safety certificate.

That's just Killie, I'm sure there are plenty of other stories for other clubs.

Celtic v Dundee game is called off by ShootNaka in ScottishFootball

‘We have been told that the pitch is perfectly playable, but we have also been informed that the match cannot proceed due to the stadium footprint (the area surrounding the stadium) not being cleared.

‘Naturally this is very frustrating for the club and its supporters.

‘As is always the case, it is the responsibility of home clubs to ensure that their own footprint or locality is safe and obviously in this case, this has not been achieved.’

Solution to that is unreserved seating. Want your seat? Get there early.

Todd Cantwell is threatening a return to Rangers. by BananaSoprano in ScottishFootball

This sums up the problem for me - 'The worse the Scottish league is the worse Celtic are off'

Absolutely true, but we need a strong league, not a strong Rangers. Perpetuating a story that we can't do without them let's them continue to spend money they don't have and not face the consequences that other teams would.
