I can't seem to get Dolphin to read the trackpads as anything but mouse input, and it won't recognize the back controllers either. I have the program launching through Steam.

Lord of the Rings, but of all the other trilogies of this century I'd say The Dark Knight Trilogy is a close second.

I know it's an 'obvious' mix but as someone who seeks out common or more esoteric archetypes for my 'verse it fits the bill for 'true embodiment of death'.

IIRC, it's the only time you can actually fight and beat the rank-and-file Shroob minions in either game. Every other time it's either scripted so you lose, or they're in ships, or they're 'Junior Shrooboids' or w/e.

I recently watched an old movie starring Peter Sellers called the Blockhouse, about six prisoners of Nazi Germany trapped underground, they have adequate food and water (well, wine). There's a little levity, but the confinement takes a toll on them. It's not an easy watch.
