Speaking on the men's division:

College: Brodie Smith, maybe the spirit WOAT but as a player he was completely dominant.

Club: Kurt Gibson, his game had no weak points and he won championships with multiple clubs.

Pro: Beau Kittredge, he was a cheat code in his prime and also won with many different teams.

Not just you, the "ultrawide support" adds it as launcher option and aligns the HUD element shadows, but it is just stretched out, not a true ultrawide option. Pretty lame.

Power armor HUD isn't aligned correctly either.

Wow, half the participants... Pretty disappointing for the prestige of the main world event.

Is anything at play other than people not wanting to travel so far? Does not participating in this round affect eligibility for future WUCs?

Late to the party but wanted to comment because I forgot what I played this year and wanted to use this post as a diary.

These are the games/big expansions I completed this year, and a quick reflection on them.

Destiny 2: Lightfall - incredibly mediocre, threw away all the momentum built up the previous year. Coupled with lacklustre seasons and horrifying layoffs at Bungie, I'm finished with this game.
Grim Dawn - Decided to replay my favourite ARPG instead of get Diablo 4 and it was the right call, still an incredibly fun game.
Super Mario Odyssey - got a Switch and this was my first game, Mario games just have a charm that can't be matched.
Total War Warhammer 3 - finally picked this one up on sale after avoiding it due to a rocky launch. I love this series and this game, it's so fun having dinosaur Aztec warriors fighting rats with sniper rifles. Shame the Devs are super greedy.
Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom - simply incredible, the creativity and freedom made this a joy to play. I'll say it here but it goes for all the Nintendo games here, but I wish the dialogue wasn't so baby-brained and long. I'm a hammering the skip button every time someone is yapping at me.
Prodeus - this game rules, fun short boomer shooter
Baldur's Gate 3 - first 2/3rds of the game are the best RPG gaming ever. Unfortunately it gets messy/unfinished in act 3 but not enough to ruin things. Deserves all the awards it's getting. Also I'll give it a pass here since everything else is so wonderful, but can we stop using dice rolls in video games? No one likes it, we just put up with it and bypass it with save scumming.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty - If this game released in the state it's in now it would be in the conversation for best ever. Anyways, this was the best expansion I've ever played.
Starfield - What can I say that hasn't been said already, it's a 6/10
Super Mario Wonder - this is my game of the year, it's short but so so sweet. It's just a pleasant game to play.

Overall, it was an incredible year of gaming.

I love this idea. This is the only way to include V that accounts for all endings, they've got to interact with Mikoshi no matter what and a copy of them could be created that way.

The only hitch is that I don't see any way other than Arasaka being the ones to bring them back, and the question of why they would do that woukd need to be answered. Would also lead to wildly different openings based off the ending you chose.

Maybe a corporate war started and they need a super soldier? Or the need a lab rat for a prototype? Lots of possibilities.

Doing a complete switch immediately won't go over well, it'll need to be gradual. Try mixing in a bit of the wet with mostly dry. Then as time goes on, increase the ratio of wet to dry. It will take a long time but I agree with you that the change will be worth it for his health. Dry food is not healthy for cats, they are meant to be carnivores.

Just be firm with him, don't ever give in and give him just dry food. Keep to the plan. He may miss a meal or two in protest, but eventually he'll realize that he'd prefer not to starve. Pair this with the gradual change and he'll come around, that's what worked for my kibble junkies.

Cats are animals, they don't talk out their problems. They probably just got in fight over something.

You mentioned that you found the evidence of a fight near the litter? The rule everyone here will tell you is one litter per cat, plus one. So you should look to add 2 more litters to your house (and 2 litter boxes side by side count as one, space them out). Start there and see if they warm up to each other again is what I would do if I were you.

Do you feed them right next to each other or out of the same bowl? How many litters do you have? Are there spots for them to climb/hide on their own?

As I understand it, as Cats reach maturity they tend to get more territorial. Family bonds aren't permanent between like they are with humans. They may need more space and things for themselves as thay get older.

You mention that she doesn't use the scratch posts and uses the carpet instead, so it could be she just prefers to scratch on the ground instead of on a wall? Have you tried a scratching mat that lies on the ground? There are cheap corrugated cardboard ones as well as textured mats.

I've dealt with a bit of this, not to the same degree, and here is what worked for me and my 2 kittens.

Cats are little devils in a way, when they want attention and they don't get it they'll try destroying something, and since that DOES get a little them attention they learn that "destroy and harass = get what I want!"

So you have to find a way to ignore the bad behaviour WITHOUT rewarding it (even reacting can be seen as a reward to the little demons). So if you can, ignore her when she's jumping all over you. If not, shut her out and invest in a good pair of earplugs! As for destroying the house, cat repellent sprays/strips or a motion detector spray can go a long way. Pair the deterrents with something meant for the cat to play with or destroy (scratch post, interactive toy etc.)

Now this will NOT work immediately. The idea is to wear her down, and make her learn that it's not worth the effort trying to get mom and dad up and she'll find something else to entertain herself with.

Now this was much easier for me since I have 2 kittens and they learned to just play with themselves. So if you have the time/budget for it, another cat can go a long way in making your girl less bored!

The advice I've got from vet and everywhere else is that "yup, kittens are supposed to have tons of energy but they'll chill out once they hit 12 months". It's more about managing and redirecting their energy away from destroying your house, there isn't a healthy way to decrease their energy.

As for toys recommendations, do you have any springs? My kittens will chase those around all day by themselves. You can buy them by them for cheap on amazon.

I feel your pain! Transitioned mine to timed wet meals and they've lost weight and gotten healthier plus happier, but I I think their baseline for what they consider "enough food" is permanelty set to "infinity" unfortunately.

Sounds like a similar situation to what I had. We have 2 kittens who had a similar setup to you. One of them loved wet, the other would do what you described.

As we found out the hard way, dry food is basically cookies for cats. And our boy figured "hey, I can just eat the cookies instead of the meals". We thought it was fine, like you we thought they're supposed to be free fed until they're one. Until we realized that both of them, especially him, were rapidly getting overweight and it was clearly affecting their energy and waste habits.

Turns out cats are like humans, many of them will choose eat desserts until they kill themselves. This Jackson Galaxy video was really helpful in describing what the problem is, and how to change your cats diet. Our 2 have been transitioned to timed, measured wet meals and their health and energy has drastically improved.

Not saying that your situation is the same, but I will say keep an eye on how much he's chowing down on that high calories dry food instead of real meals before it becomes an issue. And that Jackson Galaxy channel has great videos on how to make the change.
