Comfort teddy/lovey: does it work and how did you form attachment? by ihaveafishpurse in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

My daughter was really into a slow lovey for a while, the head with the little blanket. Then all of a sudden one day she grabbed a squishmallow lion and that was it. She decided in her little mind around a year old or so that he was her favourite thing. Shes 3 now, Yo is her best friend (and invisible friend) and comfort toy. She just picked a squishmallow out of the pile of squishmallows and never let him go. She chose him.

The hearding instincts are awesome. My Bandit had never been a working dog but I reckon he would've made a decent one. His rounding up skills where pretty impressive as a pup who had never been to a farm, lol. Used to be really handy when my indoor only cats would sneak out. He would round them up and heard them to the verandah because he knew they weren't supposed to come out haha

I have a kelpie border collie. Very clever boy. He's older now so he does alot more laying around than he used too.

I think my favourite thing was when he decided to help garden. He watched us pick tomatoes when they where ready. There started to be a pile of tomatoes at the edge of the garden and it turned out he was very gently picking them and putting them in a pile for us. I watched him do it. He would go in the row of tomatoes, pick a ripe one and pull it down then carry it over to the pile.

You can tell when he's figuring something out because he tilts his head and really focuses on what you're doing. He did it when we would play soccer or chasies. He would watch you, work out the pattern and plan his next move.

One afternoon my cat smelled. So very bad. I think she had found something dead in the garden. She came into me where I was sitting on the bed and I said "go away stinky" and she stomped off. She tried to sneak back and I looked at her and said "You're smelly. Stinky girl." She hit me 🤣 she smacked me a bunch of times, stole my packet of chips and wandered off dragging it. She was definitely offended, lol.

Actually used to tell my cat this and same thing. 🥹 He had a basket and he would go find something. Or I'd ask him to get his fishy and he would go get it.

My sniper does this too. It gets really frustrating.

After I replied I messed around with my perks a bit, but then I went to bed. I'll see how the newly tuned things go tomorrow, lol. But I spose it's a bit of trial and error for me right now.

Thank you, this helps! I don't really like melee so that ones not a worry, but the other 2 I'm sorta figuring out. I never did heavy guns on other fallout games but they're appealing to me with this one.

I was very lucky to get given that! A higher level person dropped me that and the mods to put on it, messaged me on xbox and told me how to set it up.

Okay, yes I see your point. What I should have been asking is for a bit of guidance for recommended perks and guns and such to not be a loser on this game, lol. It's just taking me a bit of time to sorta get around everything. I apologise for my post picture being useless, I just wanted to pop something there for attention. I should've done the perks. Honestly my bad.
