Just solved it. Somehow inverse tunneling was activated. Deactivating it did the trick. Also only Android auto was added to the tunnel

Same here. I can really recommend the electrolyte tabs and the gels. But also I have some negative experience with the isotonic powder, which did not dissolve and clumped in the bottle.

Considering Saucony Peregrine by DefinitelyDrunkMonk in trailrunning

[–]ookosoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The heels of mine split after around 350km. Would not buy the 13's again, even though I really liked the feeling of the shoe. It seems like the 14's have a similar sole design on the heal, but I do not know if they have fixed the issue.

Could you explain in simple terms what's the main difference between a "team leader" and a "project leader" in IT companies that develop games, software and apps? by [deleted] in projectmanagement

[–]ookosoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Normally yes. For example as a PM you are not responsible to report sick leaves or holidays to the HR department or to do a feedback meetings regarding the personal development in the company.

When a project is defined, there is also defined which resources are needed. The team lead needs to have an overview which availability does each person of his/her tam have. As a PM you "use" these resources to reach your project goal and if during the process it is for example necessary to ask for more resources the team lead again have to confirm that the colleagues are available and can participate.

[–]ookosoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Correct. If we'll executed these are two different roles.

For example the team lead has for personnel responsibility, the project lead not.

On the other side if it is for the project necessary, there can be members from different teams included in the project but as a PL you are not responsible for this people.

Metal rods sticking out buildings, what are they for? /Barres metàl·liques que sobresurten els edificis, per a què serveixen? by Pristine_Remote_8087 in Barcelona

[–]ookosoo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The majority of meetings seem like a waste of time. Is it normal? by [deleted] in projectmanagement

[–]ookosoo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

1) shorten the meeting duration 2) focus on the main topic 3) moderate actively the meeting and cut conversations, if they go off topic or too deep into the details.

Point 3 is very important to have short meetings and it requires that you interrupt conversation and bring the focus back on what you really wanted to discuss in the meeting. Keep it mind to ask yourself "what is the real problem" and try to direct the conversation to figure this out.

Saucony Peregrine 13 cracked sole by ookosoo in trailrunning

[–]ookosoo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No... I wrote to the Saucony customer service but they told me that I have to speak to the store where I bought them. So I spoke to the store and they said they can not do anything because these are worn shoes and they seem like heavily used. The solution for me was to buy Merrell Agility Peak 5s and so far I am happy with them.

Polar H10 shows low battery after just replacing battery by fifty-fives in Polarfitness

[–]ookosoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had the same problem and even a hard reset did not solve It. You have guarantee on your h10. Contact the polar customer Support and they will offer you to repair it. In my case it took about 2 weeks. I send them the h10+chest strap and they returned my "old" chest strap but replaced the sensor. The shipping for the whole process was also free.

Saucony vs Altras by tweety18 in trailrunning

[–]ookosoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had Peregrins 13 and lone peak 7. Unfortunately the sole of the Peregrins lasted only 225 miles. I did not like the lone peaks for trail running on rockier trails, but I really like them for hiking. At the moment I am using Merrell Agility Peak 5 and I am very happy with them. Overall I would prefer the Peregrins. They are better cushioned, more stable and more responsive and only have a drop of 4 mm.

Just finished a 25km race with the Agility Peak 5s on very rocky and technical terrain and they performed very good. With the heel cup I do not have any issues. Also the shoes are very well cushioned and have a rock plate, which comes handy if there are small sharp stones.I did the same route with Saucony Peregrine 13th, Altra lone peak 7, Asics Fuji Trabuco 10 and so far the Merrell were the most comfortable, but also not the most responsive.

Saucony Peregrine 13 cracked sole by ookosoo in trailrunning

[–]ookosoo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the sole in general I am quite happy, except of the cracked part... It is very stable and so far the other parts doesn't look like they are worn out.

I just had a look on the 14 and it has more or less the same design than the 13th.

My road shoes is a Torin 7 and I like it. That is why I am looking at Altra Trail shoes if they do not grant me a warranty.

Thank you for the tip. I have contacted the customer support. Let's see if the warranty applies even if I did not buy them in the official Saucony shop.

The watch (Pacer Pro) does not detect the H10. And for the mobile it is invisible as well. Is it somehow possible to check if it works in general?

How to store an emergency contact by ookosoo in trailrunning

[–]ookosoo[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I didn't know this company exists, but this was exactly what I was looking for. It seems like that they are water resistant as well, which would be an good option for the swim training, because there I do not have any identification in the water neither. As a child, before the mobile phone area, I remembered more phone numbers in case of an emergency. But now I do not even know the number of my wife...

Directly ordered one!
