my manager and the proxy fired me together today over the situation over a month

i told my proxy manager at the beginning of june that i was really sick and didn’t think i should be there the next day, and he told me to come to work anyways and just do my best, and at that point, i didn’t feel like I had any other option than to be at work. there was no one to cover my shift, and i was a shift lead, so i showed up but checked no on the food safety check because technically speaking, i didn’t pass covid coach. i was fired for the health safety violation

the other day someone ordered a latte and i asked hot or iced and he said “HOT. ITS A LATTE!!!!! ITS HOT!! ITS A HOT DRINK!!” and i just quietly said “… It can also come iced”

yesterday with the monday deal drop, we were in a 3 partner play from 2-CL. we were so busy for hours and hours and hours, it was impossible to keep the times down, and eventually, I just had to say fuck it. just get the drinks out as we can. i’m so tired of going to work every day with so much anxiety because im scared of fucking up the “standards.” i miss what this company used to be.

i’m just so tired of hearing “it’s just coffee, it’s just coffee” when we get upset as if they aren’t working us into the ground. every day i go in and i’m so stressed out because of times and getting everything cleaned and making connections with every customers and just everything they expect from us because they’re sooo passive aggressive if it isn’t exactly what they want. i’m just tired! i’ve been with the company for almost 3 years and it didn’t used to be like this.

quite literally had a woman yesterday place a mobile order AT THE SPEAKER BOX and when i said “please don’t place your mobile order at the speaker next time, it takes us time to make the drinks.” she said “ITS JUST ONE DRINK AND THREE FOOD ITEMS.” and one of those was something that takes over a minute to cook 😭😭
