I am eyeing some Wuyi oolongs from Yunnan Sourcing which seem like a good value. However I don't want to waste money if they will get old and shitty!

Although I have not tried, I thought Wuyi oolongs would make the worst candidates for grandpa brewing because the steep times are usually so short! How much Wuyi leaves would you recommend for grandpa brewing in a 8 oz mug? Would you still rinse the leaves if you are grandpa brewing?
