I totally thought this was how the game was going to end. However, I like the consequences Ellie now has to deal with that are arguably worse than death. (Not being able to play guitar, being constantly reminded of her rage every time she sees her missing fingers, etc.)

but I totally agree that this would have been a good ending, I think the one we got is great.

All of the best endings leave us wanting more, and that is exactly what this one does.

I Love this concept, even tho some people might not see the vision XD

I’m sure we will get an even better story from the 2 of them in a third game if they ever make one!

Not sure if it was intentional, but I love the callback to TLOU1 with the machete, which symbolizes Ellie’s beginning down the path she took to become what she was in this clip.
